| When he first encountered it I was fine because it was an accident. When he went for a second time I was like "dude wtf" come on you were warned. When he tried for the third time I just put my hands up and said "Ok ok, take your L you deserve it." Reminds me of a typical kid who would do the exact opposite when told not to do so. |

Especially given he was barely making it. If he found himself having to run, he wouldn't have had enough energy. I was hoping he'd die. |
| The symbolism was awesome in this one. The husband was clearly sick and it was like each time he went to investigate the other hospital you heard his wife and nurse saying to come back. Like if he was having an attack of some kind and his wife is there yelling to come back and don't go. But he went to the other side anyways. |

| On the surface level, Ohta is maybe the stupidest main character in a Yami Shibai episode, just unrelentingly baffling that he couldn't figure out about the salt. As a metaphor for his insistence to work off the illness causing him to perish quickly it works better, but still not great. I think the thing that prevents me from just saying this was outright good, was the he was ready to stop his rehab well before until the other side tempted him. If there wasn't that line about him being ready to stop and curiosity being the thing the fucked him over, I think this would've worked great to highlight the necessity of actually resting when you have poor health rather than trying to expedite the healing process with additional exercise. Instead, the episodes metaphor is a bit fumbled and without that metaphor, it's just a story about a moron. |
