| YES! I Agree! I reallye njoyed the whole story, and it seemed (at least where I read) that the mangaka might continue it!! | Absolutely adorable!! My heart swelled by the end, I figured it would end like this, but still! It leaves me craving for more. The art style and some of the comedy devices reminded me of a mix between Rumiko Takahashi (Ranma 1/2, Inuyasha) and Mika Kawamura (Daa Daa Daa). Not a bad thing at all, quite charming actually. And gosh, that hand reaching spread was gorgeous. A sequel would make me soo happy. Now I have to check what other work this mangaka has done! |

| We don't get enough of these series where sexuality is the focus and it's so light hearted and innocent. It's like a breathe of fresh air. A sequel would make me so so happy but just any more work from Syundei would be worth it. |

| I love that Nakamura tried hard to get closer to his crush. He didn't go seme and forceful on that little panda!! Nakamura only asked to be friends. That was a good choice. If you don't know about a person's sexuality, asking them to go out with you is probably not a good idea. The art style confused me quite a lot. I had to constantly remind myself this wasn't an 80's manga. While it doesn't matter most of the time, it gets confusing when they use a digital camera or do something that wouldn't have been possible back then. I like that Nakamura is not good looking in any way. He looks like a normal shy kid, who can be kind of hard to talk to. |

| Wow this had a way nicer ending than I expected. The author even explains in the extras how he came up with the different chapters, and that 8-11 were all done together. It shows, I would say 8-11 was really good, while the other chapters have some funny moments, I hated the whole 'act in a play' bit and the Hirose-lookalike sister (even though she was cute) Nakamura-kun wasn't played up to be a creep like I feared he'd be, or to be used as the author's personal pin cushion (although the chapter with the play acting was crossing that line)- Nakamura is a normal kid like Hirose, but just likes him. He never thought 'dirty' thoughts about him, just likes him. I think that other ppl are reading more into it than what was shown. That Hirose finally realized it and reciprocated at the end was sooooooo satisfying. So many Japanese romance go with this 'unrequited love' BS and I saw that coming... but they actually got together. They haven't professed romance yet, but that's fine for a first volume. I disagree with the reviews that say the manga has fetishes or weirdness... it didn't seem that way. The only things I didn't like were the captions in the early chapters "This is Nakamura-kun, he's a closet gay" and "I'm Nakamura-kun, a closet gay" (literally) Or the other captions describing characters... like, just show us? The last 4 chapters saved it. I read this in anticipation of the anime release. Since it's so short, I expect 5 or 10 minute episodes, doubt it will be 12 episodes of 23 minutes. Let's see if they stick with the manga ending showing them get together- bet it won't. |
