| The most common reason for hatred against harem stories is because people are judgmental and can't help but project their own values and righteous fury onto the show. Funny thing is, most of them are virgin teenagers with zero relationship experience... That's why I never even tried to associate seriously with other otaku/weeb types seriously. It's a very toxic community, generally speaking. |

The counter sense here is huge and without fundament. The same could be applied to this "different anime" situation. The anime industry is huge because of the diversity of animes, not because of their standardization. Now for this specific topic... They "are virgin teenagers with zero relationship experience" and WANT to be in some kind of relationship that could or not be as shown in the show! My diagnostic is simple, if they complain it's because they wanted that to happen to them. (This can only apply to subjects of "experiences"/plots on the anime, not on features like art/sound. Although if we put Characters in this topic we need to be careful, people like wifus too much nowadays, and they are always against the MC. Look at Kirito! Even if he's brain-dead and unable of doing anything, even wipe his own ass, they will throw something at him!) "I hate this anime because the MC is dumb", "I hate this anime because the main girl accepted the MC request", "I hate this anime because it doesn't resemble my childhood experience". They are all the same hate, from the same DUMB, moronic, trying-to-instinct-diversity, Nazi-like-thoughts (I'm the better and the others should be like me or perish from the face of the earth!)(kinda strong, but I cannot find a word that represents this), people. And no one, not a single person, should give them credits or even time/attention to them. If there is a thought or something that should vanish from the face of the earth is exactly the one that wants all the other different things gone!! |

I don't read mangas, I will NOT read mangas, I will not listen to what manga readers complain in adaptation to the anime counterpart, I only watch anime except in very few and specific situations. |

I completely agree, with a slight change there: This is not a genre that should be celebrated and enjoyed by all, but by all that enjoy this genre. Not only that, but those guys like to review stuff. The only little problem they have... They don't have any review standards!! They think that a review is an opinion and they only say crap about everything (the good anime and the bad too). That's why the reviews in MAL today are literally pieces of sh*t!! WORSE!! It seems that on the front page is mandatory to have AT LEAST one bad review, and those morons insta-like that review! It could be the most crapier review ever, but because "it's a negative note" it's liked a lot, but it says nothing meaningful of the anime whatsoever, only "The MC this" and "This is DUMB" and "I got cancer for seeing it". And those are the standards today for reviews -.- |

I guess many MAL user does not have a sense of humor! I recommend reading the manga also, I really laugh while reading it! I guess goodluck to your "deathmarch". |

| I just finished watching this and yes the MC is cringe and the whole concept of two-timing is itself ridiculous but still I really liked this new concept, we are watching anime after all, one shouldn't expect things to be realistic in animes, there were many cringe moments where I had to pause and cool down before resuming watching again but still I really liked this anime, I wouldn't say I laughed out loud in every episode but there were some episode where I did laugh out loud, either due to the funny scenes or just because the whole situation was so ridiculous. The overacting of MC is really annoying though, he might be one of the worst MCs I've seen. Even after all this I'm really looking forward to its second season, if there will be in the first place. |

| I hate this anime because we only have like 15mins total screen time for my best girl Shino., lmao. People will hate this coz its plot is stupid. Common sense also doesnt exist in their world. And the gag are too repetitive. Still, its fun to watch. 7/10 P.S. Ayaneru deserves a voice actress award for her Sakisaki role. I love her energy lol. |
