Yeah, I want it to dethrone FMAB too, not because this season is a masterpiece or anything, but only because I consider FMAB an overrated piece of crap so I rather have this one on top instead, too bad it will never happen at this point.

Things simply started going downhill after the rumbling and it won't stop, it will only get worse.

If 130/123 (Ep 12) gets a perfect adaptation (unlikely) it might boost the score a little, but that's about it.

The next couple of episodes are gonna adapt 129 and 130, which are really good chapters, but I wouldn't expect anything extraordinary like Episode 3 or 5 at this point. 131 could've come close, but that's out of the equation now.

I don't see this season retaining the 9.00+ score after it finishes airing.

I mean usually when a season ends for a such a big hype anime its score keeps dropping during next few months, after which it normalizes. Just look at where part 1 of s4 is, there was a moment during its runtime that it surpassed fmab, but now it's on 22nd place with a score of 8.88. Same should be expected of part 2.

Even if it would, they would downvote it. But the answer to your question is probably no, they will most likely stop at 130, meanwhile 131 is one of the greatest chapter, at least the next season will start with a true banger, still the last episode will be really good, but this season peaked after episode 5.

Look, I haven't watched either this or S4P1, but scores aren't dropping naturally here, it's just people spamming 1s (I know because two weeks ago they barely were 4000 '1' scores, to the date, there are now 5400), this is the same that happened with Fruits Basket, Gintama The Final and plenty more.

The only ways for the score to increase would have two gorgeous last episodes, and those who don't rate until the series is over MAY help, also if the system gets rid of the spam scores (because there's 10 spam as well, of course)

Damn rumbling was so dangerous it killed the shows rating too

But I think the rating did inflate during paths arc just considering the insanity that was happening, and it did deserve to be up there but then we went back to ‘normal’, which is still super good but no matter what came after that hype it would be considered less than (you know like 13 years of planning finally making sense)

Probably not, but if it were adapting chapter 131 then maybe it would increase and surpass it but it would just immediately be brought down again. I don't see FMAB losing it's spot for an extended period any time soon

The show's last chance was back when 2000 years from now aired. Maybe if they aired 123 as well instead of cutting it out it could've helped. The last episode wouldn't be enough to put it first, it is a good episode though
