You're a new fan, I guess AOT is not so big in anime normally the studio as wit touches more with the sale of BD/DVD BUT THE AOT SALES ARE VERY LOW AND THE STREAMING REVENUES AOT DO NOT enough

Stop giving wrong info. Wit was created to animate AOT initially there was a contract sign by IG and Wit which turned out to be very costly for Wit. Most of the money made by AOT were consumed by the production community and Wit use to gain very less profit plus tight schedule for AOT lead them to abundant this project unfinished.

Now currently they have changed there working strategy they will focus more on original. Recently Wit along with Studio Bones signed a contract with Netflix so in upcoming year we can expect lot of Netflix Original made by Wit.

1) know that wit studio was not in the production committee of vinland saga, the physical sales of vinland saga were meager. In addition vinland saga had a problem finding an anime distributor for He is not in the chart anime most viewed

2)For the AOT situation WAS GETTING DOWN BECAUSE THE BUDGET ALLOCATED FOR THE PRODUCTION OF THE ANIME WAS NO LONGER SUITABLE FOR WIT STUDIO BECAUSE WIT HAD TO TAKE MONEY FROM THEIR POCKET TO PAY FREELANCER And added staff for the anime because of the bad schedule imposed by the production committee.

3)They didn't renegotiate the contract for the production of the AOT anime so he spends more but gets less because of the budget that was allocated. And also the physical attack sales are mediocre the worst been the part 2s3

4) an anime does not need to be in the production committee to see profits it is the contract negotiated with the production committee and the success of the anime that make everything. The studio that created tomozaki was not in the production committee and the same as princess connect redive was not in the production committee

5) being part of the production committee is a double-edged sword because the anime produced does not bring in the money invested, studio can go bankrupt for that here you have to aim for large IPs.

4) Netflix does not pay wit studio according to the success of the anime but it pays the anime price to wit studio so it's no profit at all At the studio, because if the anime is a success the percentage of added value goes directly to Netflix .

No. After the first season the majority of the staff moved to Kafka studio which is a small studio created by mappa for this the current animation director works for mappa
