Ufotable's insane production value and OST are so good that I can forgive the asspull galore, bland power system and characters when it comes to this show to an extent, and maybe give it an 8. |

| damn ufotable gave us another magnificent ep. i have to give this a solid 8. even though the characters dialogue were pretty generic and repetitive, those epic scene can execute it well. i really enjoyed this season much. |
| Pretty as the particle effects and fires and music are, sorry not sorry but I'm glad this is finally gonna be over. Dragged on way too long, and now it's basically ten minutes of just shit talking Tanjiro (and humans in general) and kicking him around when he's already way down, who the hell wants to listen to that? And then asspull after asspull, yet another anime jerking us back and forth with who's dead and who isn't - newsflash: shit loses its sting very fast if you keep doing that. Also several years later, with all their training and whatnot, and they're quite literally dead on their feet, protected only by plot armour (if that), just trying to finish off Upper Six - and they're supposed to get the stronger ones (eventually Muzan I guess) after this? Yeah, no. My inner nerd is fangasming over the visuals and the music as much as anyone else, credit where it's due and all that, but the rest... come on. |
| We could have had all this without the shock factor of Inosuke getting stabbed and Uzui knocked out because it made things crazy unbelievable, but whatever. The action was great even if those moments before were unnecessary. I can also understand why Gyuutaro suggested turning Tanjiro into a demon, but we already had this with Akaza and Rengoku, let's not have the repetition of every upper demon asking that please :v Complaints aside, I loved the action and am looking forward to the finale! |

| Ah yes, the Fairy Tail level of bullshit asspull that was Inosuke's survival. This is probably the lowest the writing in the show goes until the final battle in the manga tbh. The taste of everything else in an otherwise satisfying cool fight is utterly ruined by this sort of crap. And no, it's not because Inosuke can move his organs and bones around that he would have been able to move his heart out of place while running and being unexpectedly stabbed from behind, this explanation is pure ass. And after a bunch of high votes in every episode, I'm obliged to give this a 1/5 for breaking every suspense and anxiety built up in this fight about the survival of a beloved character and throwing them into the trash for some ex machina induced fake drama and tension. First time I've read this in the manga, I felt intellectually offended that the author would pull such a thing when up to this point she wrote things pretty neatly (a bit iffy perhaps with the sudden power-ups in S1 ep 19, but even those were at least veeeeery slightly foreshadowed just enough, could have been better executed). In here it was straight dishonest writing bullshit. And it substantially hurts battle shounen like this when it's the bigger subject of the storytelling in hand, the battles, as the name imply. Just to justify why I would not give a 2/5 considering just how marvelously splendid the entire rest of the episode looked (ufotable at its best), but the animation doesn't justify such a shitty development in any way. I will sing praises all day on how this episode is one of the most gorgeously animated episodes ever made to television anime, but if this was a delicious milkshake, the asspull would be as if someone dropped a piece of wet turd in it. probably still looks delicious, as the turd would be covered by the gorgeous presentation of the beautiful milkshake, but it will taste terribly, and what makes the milkshake good isn't its appearance (an incredibly nice bonus, as any chef would tell you about presentation), but its taste. And this turd milkshake of an episode tastes terrible. So again, 1/5. |

| I always thought Demon Slayer's animation was overrated. The shifts to CGI were always noticeable and really ugly. A lot of the fights were just flashy or boring. I legit couldn't get the hype. But this episode. I get it. The score was great. The choreography was great. The art was stunning. It was stellar. Hands-down, one of my favorite episodes of the series. |

| This episode blew the rooftop off the entire building! Uzui-san playing OSU on Godmode, Zenitsu and Inosuke with the comeback, and Tanjiro, oh boy!!! What a cliffhanger though. Can't wait for next week!! |

| This episode is insanely crazy! Just look at those fight! Everything is 5/5 except for those 3 MC plot armor and Nezuko on the ending part... They shouldn't add that after those cliffhanger... I know obviously they won't die, but still... Next episode is the last, guess we will see upper moon 6 past human life... |

| Holy shit... Nezuko spoke! It was so good to hear Akari talk so much as Nezuko <3. That aside, fucking hell what an episode! While it's true that the plot armor was strong in this episode, it was so hype that you just can't not enjoy it. Move aside episode 19, I think we have a new king. My boy Zenitsu is so cool. If he was always like that, he'd even be a better main character than Tanjirou haha. Suma please, don't kill Hinatsuru even as a joke xD. It looks like this isn't over yet though, even dead, Gyutaro is still a pain in the ass. I wonder what were the consequences of that. That taisho secret lmao. Nezuko finally spoke up and she didn't want to stop, she just didn't give a shit about her brother xD. |

| Watching the AOT episode and this one back to back was definitely not good for my heart. I thought that it was impossible for a DS episode to be better than Hinokami but Ufotable are gods among mere mortals and they released this materpiece. |
