| Lolis are often written to be very cute and likable in anime to make up for smaller oppai they generally have. They also get way less attention, and validation from males in anime outside headpats and sweets. Anime choses to write lolis like mature angels over realistic brats. They are certainly more fetishized in anime than other mediums which makes anime as a genre very distinct from other mediums. Most of why lolis are so based is that anime tends to make most female characters in shounen/seinen to cater to male fantasies  Ie Senko who is a super pure sweet fox loli who is practically a idealized housewife who acts as a support figure to the male mc Edit: Pretty hyped for Spy x Family anime May pick up the manga soon |
