Gween_Gween said: Did I miss the reasoning behind Hiling assassination? I suppose they will explain it later, but it seems quite drastical. This episode put into the table many questions to be answered, which is kind of cool. The whereabouts of Bojji's mom, the purpose of Bosse deeds, the underground world, and Hiling's assassination. I would like to see how it will play with Bojji's new purpose Before this episode I was thinking about how lazy the concept of doing a supernatural training off-screen is, and how it is comparable of omitting words in the dialogue to provide an artificial sense of suspension, and they literally did that here lmao This sort of "hiding" to key points of the story doesn't really contribute much here, the capability of the reveals to surprise anyone is near zero because of how transparent all the other corners are Only thing I can guess is that the Lady in the mirror made a deal that if she brought back Bosse, that he would provide her a body in return. |

It answers alot, but still i have many questions left. Domas feels happy but shouldn't he feel like cut his right hand was useless after all? But happily Domas has second chance to get better life. |

After sacrificing Bojji's strength and health, Bosse realized and regretted his actions so he decided to make amends by making a good life for Bojji (perhaps at the same time wanting to make Bojji the strongest human being without having to make a pact with a demon like himself). But in order to do that, he "sacrifice" Daida.. who as far as we know, his second child. I hope Bosse has good plans for Daida too. I hope Queen Hilling doesn't die either.. after all we know that she loves Bojji very much. But I'm curious, how did Bosse and Hilling get married? And what caused Bojji's mother to die? |

This is getting boring. Everyone and everything is too mild. Oh, this person tried to assassinate the prince, let's execute him. That makes sense. But, what's this?! Turns out the prince's alive so let's not execute him then. I mean what?! Is that how things usually go realistically? This anime has a very loose social structure to be realistically believable. Not to mention that now all of a sudden little Bojji is the strongest person in the world? There goes the intrigue of what the rest of the world might hold in store. The plot armor for that dumb and deaf kid was already too thick, now this... Smh. |

The real reason why Bojji didn't have strength like his father King Bosse...is because he did a dirty deed to steal from his own son instead. Welp, call yourself a righteous father? Some nice backstory between Bojji's parents, and that Bojji's mom just inherently fought with Bosse over strength. I can't imagine that pickup line working though: "to marry and bear my child", that sounds so cheesy. The power of the Devil (plus the servant beside Bosse which now I'd believe was Miranjo all along) really is the reason why Bosse fled from Bojji and his mom, and now that Miranjo has taken over Daida's body with King Bosse's incantation in him, whoever is on Bojji's side must be executed regardless. The naviety of the mother Hiling to see Hokuro being executed, and as much as Domas barely saved him from death, Miranjo's vision of the current Bojji sure saved some harm. Pretty sure that what King Bosse in Daida's body told Domas to go find Bojji in the underworld with Hokuro, that's the only way he can live after being banished out of the kingdom. Think of it as a service to destroy Bojji but partly related in small bits. For Bebin, he's as expected to be alive, but to suffer through his past as one of King Bosse's servants, the snake god sure repaid that favour. For Bojji, having mastered the Despa Arts, wondering what he can do now. Daida will forever be shrouded in darkness unless somebody saves him, and this is only just the beginning of finding the light. One third into the story, and it's only getting better. |

I wonder how Bojji became that strong. Since he is not physically strong he almost certainly became strong in magic. It appears that his wanker of a father only stole his physical strength (and size + hearing), not his mana or however magic works in that world. Speaking about his wanker father and his deal with that demon, with the mirror bitch acting as an intermediate, the story suddenly started resembling Dororo, in more than a few ways. However it looks like Bosse plots to put an end to the mirror bitch's ongoing plans (since she surely plans to do the same with Bosse's grandsons, great-grandsons etc) by destroying the portal to the Underworld in secret. Bosse might even be the one who locked her in that mirror, in order to reduce her power and influence. King Bosse is a supreme hypocrite. He did not hesitate at all to sacrifice his yet unborn child in the altar of his stupid ambition and yet when he saw how small and weak he was he started getting emotional and pledged to do everything for his first son - out of guilt, of course. Is it too late for him to be redeemed? If he kills Hilling it will be. Poor Hilling was expendable from the very start... I did not quite get why exactly she ordered to have that guy killed. Was it a 'kill the messenger' thing or because he was unable to protect Bojji from Domas? Would it have ever been possible for him to defeat Domas? |

Now, he's cutting up boulders and already is the strongest person in the world? Where do we go from here? His journey for strength has ended. Now the only interesting thing remaining is the fate of Queen Hilling. Bosse resurrection is a detriment for me. I don't care for him one bit. His story is over for me. And Bojji has too strong of a plot armor. We already know nothing's gonna happen to him. There's been no sense of danger for the entirety of the show. As I said, it's too mild. |

The character art of this anime is absolutely garbage. There are barely any shadows on them. And the ever present edge highlight is an eyesore. Why didn't they get rid of that highlight and drew shadows instead? The eyes have no detail in them. The hair have no detail in them. The costume design is too simplistic. Shame how a studio that once created artistic masterpieces like Attack on Titan and Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress, have now devolved to this level. This character art is simply sub par. Even low tier seasonal trash anime have better artwork than this. |

Very shocking episode for me...Holy fuck The fact that the mirror said that Bojji is the strongest/#1 blew my fucking mind and I'm even more hyped to learn what his new weapon is and see just exactly how powerful he has become Secondly, seeing the king's backstory was pretty interesting and it left me feeling very conflicted because you can see via his interactions with his ex-wife as well as his genuine desire to protect his people/kingdom and his son, that he is a good man, but on the other hand, he didn't really bat an eye when it came to sacrificing his own family in order to gain strength....And then seeing how readily and nonchalantly went along with the mirror's plot to kill the current queen left a bad taste in my mouth But lastly, I'm very curious to see what's going to come from this whole mission thing that the king tasked Domas and the other guy to do, as well as if he's actually going to have the queen be killed....And poor Daida man TwT And shoutout to the Giant Snake for saving Bebin's life, glad that they're both still in the picture |

Dude this is not cool, bosse needs to come up with a plan to stop this, his kid has suffered more than enough for his size let alone his nonexistent strength smh.Kirito_online said: somehow boji will recover his strenght, otherwise this anime will go nowherealbeeSZN_ said: Kirito_online said: I think that he is still stealing his power, otherwise how would he know that boji has become stronger? He knows it because he can feel that he is receiving more power from him... albeeSZN_ said: stealing or stolen? I thought he already took all of boji's power...?Alpha_Druid said: This is getting boring. Smh. 1it's not that NOW boji he is the strongest in the world, he already was. He is so weak because king boss is stealing his strenght... That dumb and deaf kid is actually a fucking giant btw 2 bosse didn't kill domas because he knows he is a loyal servant, and he sent him and the other guy to bring boji back to the castle. (king boss wants to keep him safe because if he dies he loses all the strenght that he is stealing from him) |

The pacing suggests it will be a 1 season show though, but I'm enjoying it. |

The manga is still being serialized in mangahack, it's currently on part 2. part 1 ends with Daida acknowledging Boji's authority as king. Part 2 has Boji travelling in order to create alliances with the other kingdoms |
