 Kadokawa launched an official Twitter for the anime adaptation of Rin Asano's Deaimon manga on Monday, revealing the main cast, staff, television format, and a visual (pictured). The anime series will air in 2022.Nobunaga Shimazaki (Nijiiro Days) is starring as the protagonist Nagumo Irino. Kozue Yuuki (Sora to Umi no Aida) is voicing the female lead Itsuka Yukihira. Staff Director: Fumitoshi Oizaki (Acchi Kocchi, Romeo x Juliet) Series Composition: Reiko Yoshida (Non Non Biyori, Hanayamata) Character Design, Chief Animation Director: Sakae Shibuya (Centaur no Nayami, Mahou Shoujo Site) Studio: Encourage Films Asano began publishing the wagashi-themed (Japanese confections) slice of life manga in Young Ace in April 2016. Kadokawa shipped the 11th volume on May 1. Synopsis Nagomu Irino returns to his Kyoto home for the first time in ten years when his father is hospitalized. Nagomu is eager to take over Ryokushou, the family's Japanese sweet shop, but he's instead asked to be a father figure to Itsuka Yukihira, the girl everyone calls the successor.
