| most shounen romcoms are super slow anyway. They tend to focus a lot on repetitiveness and repeating the same concept for a billion chapters rather than actual development like last time I checked Rent-a-girlfriend had something like almost 200 chapters and still no confession lmao but slowest I've seen that wasn't a generic shounen with bait I think would be Love Lab (sadly lol). Or maybe Who Made me a Princess, I'm not even sure why the tag is there in the first place |

| Skip Beat! it took over 200 chapters for Kyouko to realise her feelings and then another 70-80? chapter for them to confess to each other...yet EVEN AFTER THAT they STILL are NOT together. I think that's the one which sticks out the most to me rn. Gekkan Shoujo & Bakarina probably can go down that list as well....supposed romance tag but like....no progress AT ALL. ALSO Yankee-kun to Megane-chan, like WHY DID IT EVEN HAVE THE TAG???? there are prolly couple of Manhwa which will also take their sweet time before anything happens guessing from how the Novel unfolded, etc (Villains Are Destined to Die, Charlotte and Her 5 Disciples, The Villainess Lives Again, The Twins' New Life, The Princess Imprints the Traitor, The Readymade Queen, etccc) Also want to quickly mention beatrice, things have picked up over the latest chapters but i feel so bad for the ML cause I'm sure you could literally tattoo it on her forehead that he likes the FL, and she'd still be convinced that he was Gay. |
