「Q/A For Future Reference」

For items requiring a certain/favorite VA/character:
-Can take a screenshot of current favorite list and add it to item, in case you change your favorites later. Can be any in your favorites, does not need to be first listed.

For items saying "where the main character":
-Can be any main character. Does not have to be all if there are more than one.

For items saying "majority of characters":
-Means >50%, not "almost all."

For items saying "the user above/below you":
-Can use first entry on next page if you're the last comment, and vice versa.

For items saying "non-human main character":
-Can use characters that look human as long as it can be verified that they are something else.

Bingo: Overlaps/switches
-One switch for every difficulty. Unlimited overlaps but must complete original items once (ex: 4 overlaps. Must do original requirement for each at least once. Can use an overlap replacement for the second ones).

Character Tag Chain:
-Character must exist on A-P. They don't have to exist on MAL.
-Characters in non-speaking roles are fine.
-Related anime can be linked (ie: a character from season 1 of a show can be linked to a character from season 2 of the same show)

Hi/LoScore:
-If you finish your anime when the next signup is open, add the "Add me again" line to the "Finished on time" post. Do not make a separate post.

Holiday:
-For items referring to seasons, if AniDB has the anime tagged with a season, you do not need to list the episodes.

Recommendation:
-Starting anime does not need to be listed in profile favorites. Has to be TV-Type.

Scavenger Hunt: 2+ animals
-Can be 2 different species or 2 of the same species. Does not have to be in the same frame/episode of the show.

Second Chances:
-For items with [insert color] in the title / name of a character, parts of a name or title are fine.

Yggdrasil:
-When tagging users, if they are inside quote bbcode, they will not get a notification.
-Max ~50 users can be notified from one comment if they're tagged. Play it safe and limit it to 40.

Themes/Genre Update:
-Until part 2 rolls out, items such as "only comedy genre", "3+ genres", etc, will include all genres, themes, and demographics.

AniDB:
-Adding "/animetb" to the end of a tag search will give a list of anime, not characters.

「AniList Anime Challenges」

Note: You cannot complete a difficulty before completing the prior difficulty (no medium before easy). Turn in difficulties as you complete them. One turn-in per submission - so even if you completed easy and medium from one challenge, it needs to be two turn-ins. For genre challenges, you can work on the next difficulty while you wait to be inspected. If it's for hard difficulty, you cannot start mastery until the hard submission is inspected and verified.

For submissions, use the link of the initial post. Ex: for hard difficulty, link the easy difficulty.

- DESC: Fill a minesweeper 7x7 grid with any numbers. For each number that is placed, you must watch an anime that fits the requirements of ALL mines touching the square. For example, if you put "8" in the center square of a 3x3 section, you must watch 1 anime for the "8" square that satisfies the requirements of ALL 8 mine squares. You do not need to satisfy the requirement in the "8" square, just the mines around it. You cannot have a mine surrounded by 8 other mines; there must be atleast 1 number (requirement) to satisfy.

- DESC: Watch anime to defeat the monsters. One anime = one attack; extra damage does not carry over from 1 enemy to the next. 1 damage per 10 minutes total duration, rounded down to the nearest 10 per enemy. Runtimes stack if on the same enemy (if enemy has 20 HP, watching two 27 minute OVAs counts as 54 minutes for 5 damage, not 27 + 27 for 4 damage). Weakness/resistance multipliers apply to the runtime, which is then rounded (105 minutes with a 0.5x resistance = 52.5 minutes).

Theme: Winter Wars: Episode V - Santa Strikes Back
Explanation: The elves are tired of working 364 unpaid days per year, and choose to escape from the North Pole (no one likes a boss who takes all the credit for everyone else's work!). Santa returns from his yearly delivery and notices his workshop is completely empty, and he's not happy. Together with his reindeer army, he's determined to find and bring back his workers.
