| To be honest......Shinsekai Yori, I know most people like the plot of it, But I personally find it a bit wonky and aimless and would've preferred to see a different set of characters with a different story instead of the real one, The worldbuilding is top tier tho |

| Darling in the FranXX It's way of introducing it's own world is almost none existant, but somehow the watchers know what kind of world DitFranXX sets in as the episodes goes on. It forces the watchers to know it's backstory with their own eyes and ears without a direct storytelling. And yes, y'all know the plot here is not just mid on the 2nd half of the show, it's fcked up. |

| Yeah index is definitely a prime example of an interesting world building wasted under bad plot and bad character building. AllahDiyenKirpi said: literally every generic isekai anime "generic " isekai anime usually don't have especially good world building. The isekai with good world building regularly have good plot as well (bookworm, 12 kingdoms... ) though it's not guaranteed (Mondaiji (average) for example) . |
