What do you think of Gabi?
| Check this: Gabi Braun How on Earth does this irritating brat have 9600 fans, which is 600 more than Sasha as of now? All I see is an irredeemable kid who's brainwashed to her very core. As of the last episode, she even murdered the guard who was trying to help her and would've done the same thing to the innocent girl Sasha saved had Falco not intervened. How many more is she going to murder in the name of her indoctrinated beliefs? What do you guys think of her and/or her fan count? |

| She has so many favourites because she's a very good and well written character. She's literally a 12 year old brainwashed child. All her life she was told that these "devils" must be killed. Not only that, but they just came to her town and slaughtered thousands. Doesn't exactly help our case for the paradis eldians not being devils does it? From Gabi's perspective she's just taking out a devil that shot and killed two nice people in front of her. She is completely justified. Her development through out the season is pretty great, and she is definitely one of the best characters in this season. |

| I don't like her, cause she's unbearable Not for what she did but for how she talks and act as a whole, even in "normal" moments her character is despicable However i still believe she didn't do anything wrong, it's war, she saw people attacking and killing her friends and she reacted like she could so if it's people's only purpose to hate her, i don't get it I'm only watching the anime tho, so maybe she'll change, maybe all the fans she got are people who read the manga I don't know, we'll see As for Sasha i also don't think she deserve so much favs, she's a comedic character, didn't really have a development or anything, she was only there to do some silly thing and make people smile/laugh, but as the plot gets more serious she doesn't really have her place here anymore |

| Maybe she has an amazing arc in the future according to Manga readers.I don't like her cuz she has become a psychopath now.I was sympathizing with her before but now it's completely gone with what she did to Kaya and the soldier who she killed who he was just trying to help her..Still don't understand why Falco likes her. |

| Wow, look at the spread in that poll. Personally, I'm indifferent to her, but think she's a well-written character that's meant to the be representation of the world outside of Paradis and their views on the Paradisians themselves. I understood her actions during the Marley arc, if at times she was being a bit melodramatic (looking at you S1 Eren), but shit happens in war and conflict. People die, people get killed. Cause and Effect. Sasha killed the gate-guard that she was on friendly terms with, spared Gabi because it wasn't in her nature to kill children, and then ends up getting shot by her as a result. She watched her hometown burn, and people she loved and cared for get killed right in front of her eyes. A kid that's been fed the same propaganda for years and years, and believes every word of it without a single doubt, is going to want to take revenge on the people she's been taught to despise and dehumanize when they attacked them. Undoing a lifetime of propaganda isn't going to be solved via Falco's words alone, it's going to be solved by actually putting faces and names to those "devils" and interacting with them and finding out for herself that they aren't who they were made out to be : they were just people, with hopes and dreams, like everyone else on the continent. Gabi at this point reminds me of a religious cultist that just parrots lines without actually using any critical thinking skills to disseminate what's actually being said. Her ideology has effectively become her. This is why she was so dumbfounded by Kaya when she hit her with simple logic. In Marley, there was never any pushback, it was just accepted without question. It's strangely reminiscent of a lot of the tribal political nonsense you see on social media these days. You can see where the author is going with her character arc, and it's good to see Sasha's death being used for something other than shock value in a series, which I see all too often. In hindsight, I feel a lot worse about Sasha dying knowing what I do now, than I did 3 episodes ago when it actually happened. |
| I dislike Gabi and it's not for the more popular reasons that's been thrown about which can be explained away by the trauma and hatred she felt from the attack on Liberio. I dislike Gabi almost from the moment she came on screen because she has an inherent character flaw as a 12-year old. She enjoys war and the glory it gives her too much. She felt absolutely no remorse or guilt or even the slightest discomfort at causing the deaths of the soldiers in Fort Slava, whom she was only able to kill because they had a moment of doubt, a flicker of humanity in the madness of war, about killing her, an unarmed child. I don't know, that really unnerved me. Even Eren, when killing the human traffickers who killed Mikasa's parents had to steel himself for the deed and soothe his guilt by convincing himself they were beasts rather than human. So yea, I don't even think Gabi is really all that similar to Eren. She is inherently a more evil and unsympathetic character, since the very beginning. |

| I don't think her actions were justified but I love her as a character. Just like eren does a lot of questionable things but is still my favorite aot character. |
