When you're on a mission with this much risk, always expect the unexpected. Seems the enemy are pretty clever and Boruto himself had problems landing his Rasengan. Tough break. Boruto should of prepared himself better in that fight. |

Not gonna lie, I actually completely forgot he was even in the manga since his anime debut happened way after I read this arc lol, so I didn't remember that he was going to die (until the obvious death flag from a few episodes ago). Ao is quite a formidable opponent, so escaping to buy time and strategize was a smart move. |

| Oh boy, weapon development is not even cold war status, scientific ninja tools are rife on the battle field and making a big impact! shits getting wild, and people keep throwing more shit at the fan!!! Also, that ending song, gonna have to look it up and hopefully get a translated version, even after all the action it blends into the episode so well and is so chill. Love it! |

| They skipped the conversation between Sumire and Sarada from the manga ( about Sumire being in love with Boruto and that she suspects that Sarada has feelings for him as well). Guess they overall will skip any romance related stuff in the anime. To be honest, I was expecting a lot more from the anime during this episode.In the manga Mugino was a random person dying on the mission as there was no time to introduce him. The anime gave him a lot of screentime beforehand, yet his death was unimpactful. I'm hoping they are saving the budget for the big fights, because it seems like animation quality started dropping in the past few episodes. C'mon Pierrot bring this arc justice. Loving the new osts. |
| I would have never imagined that Ao would be the cause of the most ridiculous, out of the blue reveal yet to happen in the series. How funny would it be if Mugino took the Obito road after this? |
| See, mfs complain about “filler” in Boruto but this is a perfect example of why it exists. That Mugino backstory episode which was anime original showed us where Mugino came from and made us feel closer to him, only for him to die today. One day we’ll miss all those happy episodes that the kids had together because things are only going to get darker from here. Great episode. |

| R.I.P Mugino-san 🙏 Man, Mugino death hits different in the Anime... I'm glad Anime Canon episode give him more screen time and backstory so we can have a connection to his character... (Because in the Manga, he just random Shinobi) There is a conversation between Sumire and Sarada that wasn't included in this episode, i wonder why... Ao coming in like a Terminator with a Gatling Gun... He is more badass than ever... |
