From what I've read and heard the dragonflies are really good. And the depression is manageable, though I can say it's nothing compared to opiate withdrawal, what I've never loved is the length. Even with quality beans it takes at least a day and a half or so, and if I get shitty meth filled pipes it can be almost a week before I feel fully better.
Stars are one of the novelty ones that most people seem to dislike. Which I assume is because a lot of the novelty ones are kinda shitty, but I like them. Like the white obama heads? Laughed pretty hard when I saw those.

Yellows do it's shit for sure. The worst trips are the Red Aces, high last for a short period and the hangover is the longest for me (3 days of no eating). I honestly think I've seen the Obama Heads floating around haha.

That long of a hangover suggests it's quite possible you had a pipe. Which works, but not as well and the hangover is much more powerful. I can't recall a study done weighing the damage done to the body between ecstasy, molly, 2C-E/2C-I, but based on how much worse the later makes you feel I can't imagine they are good for you. The short peaks are the worst, the first time I had really bad pill was like this. It turned out to be BZP, nasty shit, laid in bed for days. But now that I smartened up and found pill reports, shit like this rarely happens.

Dont get angry its simply because we do it better.... case in point.. Bassnectar. Oh and The Glitch Mob.. However you did bring us Benga and Boregore so.. you may be close ;D.. (all jokes friend)

Yeah so lets set the record straight on the "raves" people are going to right now. Raves died in the early 2000's in fact.. if you didn't go to one before 2002-03... i doubt you've been to one. There kinda dead.. Well i mean a "real" rave anyways. If you went to a concert, event, party, club, etc.. were there was electronic music being played... it wasn't a rave.. it was a concert, party, event, club ,ect.. Raves happened in warehouses, abandoned buildings, condemned houses and so on. They were not leagal, but they were very misunderstood. However if you go to "festivals" like Underground sound, Emerge-n-see, Burningman, Shambala ( no not the FMA Movie). or any other large out door festival these are widely considered the legal form of a rave.

Now if your one of the many that live in a MAJOR city like New york, LA, Detroit, Philly, Chicago.. etc.. from time to time you can find a bonified rave however it will prolly be broken up very shortly into the night.. typical of the rave scene nowadays.

This is a pretty good short video on the scene. Belive be the guy talking is Frankie Bones... hes been there from the very begining.

I feel i should comment though that this does put a lil to much focus on drugs.. that in the end really is what contributed to the death of the scene but it wasnt the focus in the early 90's in detroit and newyork.

^^^ too true. its all too commercial nowadays. not strictly a bad thing though. go to a rave where your only gonna get real dub n dnb heads in a decent venue n your gonna have a good night. with the illegals that atmosphere and feeling of not knowing what's gonna happen. its a buzz but at the same time with legal ones you ain't gotta trek miles, ruin clothes or run from police lol.

excision is pretty dope actually as well. I just dislike looking for nights out n seeing that everyones out in america its like nooooo come back. guess ill just have to go dubwar or something when I got some money.

Thats understandable on both accounts. Its nice to know your not at risk of going to jail and yes its irritable when all the artist you want to see are nowhere near you. :D

Excision is amazing has one of the best dubstep mixes out right now. Glad you brought him up. gotta put that mix on my ipod before i head to work XD

Techno raves are balls. Now, seeing flying lotus, along with all the other good shit at camp bisco, that was epic as hell.
Although, I'd pay and arm and a leg to see Capsule someday. I don't wanna go anywhere near Japan though, which presents a problem.

Only to a minor degree, sadly. And I haven't been to any dances in a while of any kind.
And it's kinda sad. Considering I'm fairly into EBM/Electro-Industrial/Electronic music in general. Cybergoth. TechnoShamanism. The Plur culture in general. Raver clothes(lol WHY do people call trip pants "emo"? It's raver clothing). And the cutesy stuff in general like Kandi bracelets and the like.

It's too bad our clubs got closed down and haven't opened back up in several years.:<

Yes, if you include raving at anime conventions that hold raves. I look forward to the day I get to go to a real one, but unfortunately I haven't found one that you aren't required to be at least 18 for, and I'm 17, stuck for a few more months :P

I'm huge on electronic music, so it's definitely a large point of interest for me

Check around more! There's actually a fair number of large scale rave concerts in America these days, they're just a little harder to find than you'd expect. Depending on where you live, I could name a few good festivals/etc. you'd be able to look into.

Raving is nothing compared to break-dancing.

No, I can't break. I'm too old and never bothered to learn when I was younger. I don't plan to either. However, I have a cousin who was into it; and it was interesting learning that culture from him.

Friends drug me to one about 5 years back. All it did was make me angry. Noisey, high retards touching me, thumping ungodly noise, big old smelly warehouse..... I mean if thats your thing, more power to ya. Me, I'd rather go to a nice quiet pub and drink. But thats just my inner 60 year old man talking ^^.

Never understood dance clubs, let alone the rave scene, but placet cuique suum right?
Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed - Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, 'It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than be selfish and worry about my liver.'

The thing with this though, Rave culture really requires no great skill or practice. You just have to like strobes and drugs a lot. Break dancing, on the other hand, is hard. Very hard. Even coming from someone who danced Hip-Hop for some time, break dancing is a whole new thing entirely. I used to be able to break decently in HS, however I could probably only do a few stalls anymore (if that). I knew some kids that really got sucked into the scene though, back in the day. They were extremely awesome, especially this one girl (I can't spell her name, and any attempt will look incredibly bad and racist).
