| Overrated: Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo (OVERRATED) Gurren Lagann (GREATLY OVERRATED, Good anime but lots of inmature Fanboy Fanservice and definetely not better then alot animes in the top 60* maybe even more) Code Geass (a bit overated) Believe me i liked them but i find them overrated. Underrated: NANA (so much better then alot animes above it, pure reality and perfect storytelling) Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien (this is how it goes in real life, could relate it to my own relationship i had, beautifull anime)/(too mature and depressing for some inmature people here. DAMN UNDERRATED here on MAL while its nr3 on animenfo and on ANN it gets a high rating too) Death Note (what a disgrace that its lower then Code Geass and Guren Lagann on the list *Pukes*) Full Metal Panic The Second Raid (wtf Fumoffu higher? it was funny but not better then the Second Raid with story and such, it should be alot higher in the list) Kanon 2006 (is better then some animes in the top 30 maybe not with story but the anime itself is pure wonderfull) |

And in fact its very realistic and MATURE romance, maybe you are too young too understand or you never had a lovelife yourself yet with depressing problems, i had a relationship for 3 years wich was going terrible at the end and we didnt talk alot while we lived with eachother, sometimes me or she ran away from home out of anger, argued over simple things everyday just like the mains in Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien. i truly felt each character almost like if they where real, i could relate it exactly to real life common relationship problems. and ive seen many people do this around me, even middle aged couples, or parents of people. kimi ga nozomu eien deals with common and realistic problems in relationships in a dramatic and depressing way wich is how it goes in real life too. yes Animes like Clannad and Kanon and such are wonderfull, but no not very realistic in terms of romance, its TOO wonderfull. in real life almost nothing is like how wonderfull it looks in animes, while in Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien the events that happen there are exactly like thow that would go in real life with the majority of people. some people are just too inmature or undevelopt in love to understand these feelings. it doesnt surprise me either that people who i recommend it to and like it are mostly people who are above 18 or above 20, and people who dont like it are mostly under that age or people didnt have a long term relationship yet |
| Hatenkou Yuugi. Seriously underrated! Ok I know that the first episode is one big wtf as there seems to be no plot or reason to anything that is done and characters just strangely appear as if they have always been a part of the story. However, once you get past that initial mecca fail of an intro the story progresses and it actually turns out to be quite good as far as adventure goes. I wont lie, there are still parts that are hard to follow and the characters always seem to know something you don't but it's all part of the craziness that is at the root of this anime series. |

| Overrated (imo) - Code Geass: R2 Season 1 was great, but season 2 just lost me. Plot is all over the place. Lulu's characterization is all over the place. Although the ending was tragic and perfect, it doesn't make up for the abundance of fanservice and off the wall/circular logic used in the battles to me. Underrated - Ghost Hunt! One of my all time favorite anime that almost no one I know cares about or even likes. The only way to find people who like it is to make them watch my dvds with me! Also, so sad at everyone including Ouran High School Host Club on their overrated lists. By far one of my favorite anime ever. It's the reason I gave shojo anime a chance! hehe |

I loved all of it, the plot was engaging, the characters interesting and original, the only flaw was the ending. But the character development and the epilogue made up for it. I second this so much! I should've included it. I have no taste for historical anime, but this one absolutely kept me riveting. I kept joking that I was giddy to see how it ended even though I could easily find out. =) Akizuki is such a great protagonist. I agree that the ending had a couple "eh??" moments for me, but overall I loved the idea of it.. Akizuki finding out what his true power was, etc. I just hated how they completed him and kakunojo. Ah well. I loved it. Akuzuki is my desktop! |
