| I've heard of this franchise before because of the Live Action series though never watched any of it. Man this OVA is extremely weird. We've got a super bad-ass lead who fights with a Yo-Yo!? Okay yes they were originally weapons and they can hurt but still... The Mizuchi sisters are pretty stupid, the school hierarchy is also stupid. Animation was okay but some of the character designs are horrible, mainly the three sisters. Also as @Lorezhno said the ending was dumb, I can only assume that lady next door was 'paid' to say that. Also the Cops arrived straight away. I will finish this OVA but right now I have to say (to no surprise I'm sure) that this thing is pretty bad. It's just not interesting at all. |
| I heard about this series after hearing about a show that influenced Kill la Kill at some point. Really cool story. It had its flaws that perhaps were not flaws for people familiar with the source material. I liked Saki, the concept of fighting with a yo-yo, and I'm curious to see how everything is gonna end. |
| Oh, the apple fell in a wrong place. Junko should've just stayed on a crowded street. The main villainess is played by the same seiyuu who voiced Hilda from LOGH :3 And Jin has the voice of Roy Focker! One of the guys from the "Four Devas" (KLK vibes there) had a voice of like a 40 y.o. person x) There's even some very bad Engrish xD Saki's gloves were cool :3 Poor Junko-san ;_; Did she get raped after all? I hope not. The most innocent one suffers the most. some of the character designs are horrible, mainly the three sisters. They were, like, the best ones...the canonical shoujo-style. The teacher also looks badass, especially his hair, which reminds me of Tezuka's characters...Dr. Tenma? Black Jack? P.S. The ending song is pretty bad (not the sax though) P.P.S. Saki and Sanpei took away their shoes even coming into a wrecked house |

| I heard about by a video comparing the ending of Kill La Kill with the ending of the live action of this one. Later, I went read the manga, and I really like. So, now, I saw the first episode. It´s a really rushed version of the manga (well, seems to only get a resume for an OVA), but I find it good. Really good animation for the time, previsive situations; but the good fights and cinematographic passages makes it a good entertainment, See with open mind. |

| The dubbing was good in certain areas, but hilariously bad in others. But that's what I like about it. Bad dubbing is unintentionally funny. 😂 |
