| Well blue arc was a disaster in the manga and that's why it got axed. Anime rushed through the manga in this season and I can see why they didn't wanna take the risk of making more episodes out of this final season. Anyway I'm just hoping the ending of this anime is a original one and we get a better end than the manga. |

| While the last stretch of the story is definitely not on par with the rest, I personally still enjoyed Shokugeki all the way until the end so seeing it also end now in anime format is going to hurt a lot. Shokugeki was together with Great Teacher Onizuka the two shounen that I really was a fan of right when I start watching anime "for real" (and not just whatever was on TV) around May/June 2015 and I loved them enough to pick up their manga. While the second's source material was long over, Shokugeki was with me all those years in both anime and manga format. I already had a hard hit recently when the Saiki manga translations ended and there was nothing more left, and looks like next week will come another one q_q |

| Believe me, I'm a big SnS fan, a big one, bigger than you, but I can't help but show a middle finger to this season. I just wish that the author would've put more effort into it, I know the funding was lacking, but c'mon dude, this is SnS, this is what made you big, respect it. |

| It's not that bad. Look at the anime efforts by putting some additional scenes that wasn't even on the manga. The anime is so far 10000% better than the manga. Sad to see this will end. It's quite a journey. |

| im just happy it’ll be over. this shit jumped the shark past season 2 with all its vomit-inducing pace and slideshows even though there some decent characters in the OG Elite 10. i would song a different tune had it been executed differently (despite the ridiculous storytelling and villain) and this arc was ignored |
| Nah, I think this season was actually good. Shokugeki is one of the my favorite series so it's sad that it comes to an end;( |
| The first two seasons were solid fun but it started taking a nosedive since then. It reached the bottom with this season. I mean the shokugekis aren't even exciting anymore, they just rush through everything. The characters from previous seasons are 2-dimensional at best and the noirs doesn't make sense. This and the 4th season left such a bad taste in my mouth that I'm happy it's ending soon. It's time to let Shokugeki no Souma rest in what little dignity it has left. |

| Season 5 is really an improvement from the disastrous fourth season. I hope the ending is conclusive and makes sense, but my score for Season 5 will be better than Season 4 and the second part of Season 3 in the end. |

| Have been a big fan of Food Wars forever. It’s what got me back into anime after a long hiatus so it’ll always have a fond place in my heart. That being said I’ve spent this entire season holding out hope that they’ll do something with Le Dessert and give us manga readers the satisfying end we’ve yearned for. Hoping for the best! |
| Since it's the 26th of Sept. in my place now, I'm starting to get a little sentimental now. I've watched quite a few shows this Spring/Summer but if I'd to highlight one series, it would be Shokugeki no Souma! Discovering the "Under the Cherry Blossom" soundtrack is probably the push I needed to get over my wrong assumption that this is a terrible Ecchi + Food show, and for that I'll be forever grateful! Couldn't help but watch it a second time just after the first watch through 4 (5?) seasons but this time with my kid brother and we both fell in love with the series (a second time for me, of course). I'm not going to make this too long but I'll just end by saying that this series lightened my 2020 and I thank the creators from the bottom of my heart for this wonderful piece of art. Goodbye Shokugeki, Goodbye Tootsuki Academy and Goodbye bright cooks! |

| I still remember how it was more than 5 years ago before the first season aired. I was watching anime on the old gogoanime site and there were hundreds of comments from people who have been reading the manga and were totally excited for the anime. I remember thinking: "Yeah, I should probably watch this." I think SnS started loosing steam when Azami arc started and got worse with each season. But I will always remember the first seasons with fondness. :) |

| I loved the anime since the start and It sucks that Food Wars is over after today's episode. Even though I didn't enjoy this season as I did for the other seasons, I still liked it. Thanks for the memories Food Wars. |

| It's been quite the adventure, hasn't it? Although this final season was pretty eh.... you already know. Overall, this show was pretty great. I still love the first season, especially the part where Soma stands up for Tadokoro against Shinomiya. Great soundtracks, great OPs and EDs by nano.RIPE, great visuals. I liked it. Squid tentacles for life. |

| I actually enjoyed blue arc. I was kinda worried to watch it coz manga readers says that its better to skip it coz they ruined the anime. I was relieve that it was actually good. Although I hate that it happens way too fast. But stil a 8/10 Also, I hate Erina from the start. I was rooting Megumin (and even Hisako) for Soma but this blue arc makes me like her. The Nakiri back story is beautiful. Megumin still deserves Soma though. I gonna miss this anime. I'm going to rewatch this maybe after 3 years. As of now, farewell. I'm glad I liked it |

| I'm not gonna lie. I'm happy it's over. I think everything must have an end. Of course, I'm going to miss souma and some characters. It was a fun ride overall, but they should have ended in season 4. Blue arc was really really bad. |
