| Another very good episode. Man, this edition of Major 2nd has been consistently on the money for me so far, and I have to say this is definitely one of my favorite anime of the year so far personally. I felt so nostalgic hearing and seeing Goro and Toshi again. Felt really nostalgic seeing them banter around and glad to see both doing really well, especially Toshiya being the new manager of the Japanese national baseball team. We also got to see some past events regarding how Daigo actually got to be captain of the Fuurin baseball team, and how some members joined the club to be a part of the team now. It may have been forceful due to his upperclassmen shoplifting, but you got to take what you can get out of this, and this opportunity has blossomed him for sure. Especially when it comes to being a leader mentally. Seeing Daigo with Goro too was awesome, nice to see their bond and dynamic shine too and Goro definitely still got it somewhat. Also seeing Kaoru talk about Goro's past and even seeing older Taiga triggered so many feels good memories from the original Major. Overall, I loved this. It was great for seeing past characterization, and nostalgic stuff too with Goro, one of the best male characters from anime. |

| Also, didn't even realize this is now delayed due to COVID-19. Damn that sucks, first show I really cared about being delayed for the future. Hope this returns sooner rather than later, and hope the staff in charge are doing okay. |
| Definitely enjoyed this episode. Daigo got some good leadership training considering how short it was. The preview for the next episode reminded me that I am really liking Sawa- she's got a great attitude! |

| I actually know a pitcher. Time and time again it's come up now, and that's the exact same thing he always says: pitchers are unreasonable. Also fragile. Love how I even hear that in anime, never fails to make me grin like an idiot. |

| We finally got some explanation on S1-S2 transition. In a rushed flashback with a lot of questionable OOC. Like Daigo having zero faith in himself (again). Amnesia? Other problem is that I kinda got into S2 flow and this episode was more like main story delay rather than story buildup. And now this delay is infinite. How can I stay@home when no animus aired? |

| Nice backtstory. I was happy to see Goro and Taichi again. I was pretty annoyed that Daigo wanted to quit after trying to quit baseball in the first season. Other than that, I felt the timing was a bit off, I feel like this would've had better pacing earlier, like episode one or two. xD |
| Nice episode! Super happy to see the OG characters back. I'm a fan with the pacing and also how Daigo isn't overpowered. He has a good attitude and lots of patience but obviously isn't a Goro or Miyuki Kazuya (Daiya). | Welp I do have to say, there's something beautiful about this show. I look at all of these episodes, look over at all of Tamayomi's episodes, then wonder to myself how one series can feel so good while the other one feels so derpy. Welp, the answer to that is pretty evident. Although I didn't watch the first season and jumped right into this I can say that I feel a great grasp of everything. Story is panning out alright, haven't seen anything art-wise that would be near sub-par. When the next episode comes out, I look forward to seeing some good old baseball. Screw those kids though for getting in trouble with shoplifting. |

| I had put this episode on hold until they announced the show would be back. Nice to see Daigo is so selfless. And some screen time for Goro too! |

| I really hoped Ayane Suzuki would make an appearance in this when Daigo was talking to Taiga because I am pretty sure she’s the one who ended up dating Taiga (Daigo’s moms brother). I felt sad that the original major didn’t show what she Ayane was doing later in her life after high school and I hope she decided to get with Taiga instead of crushing over Toshiya |
| i were looking for star of the tournament but ran on to fill-up episode, which is actually more than i excepted, and actually looked for how daigo turned out to be captain. daigo still somewhat unsure on his skills and all and goro came out from nowhere as usual to make things right, but it led to great filling of the timeskip in short. seeing goro like this really warned up my heart. |
| Well damn Fuji got a kids, one of which is good at baseball. Never expected that. Loving Daigo's character development into becoming a captain through advice from his family and also some private training with a former World series champion Goro. |
