| People always say "Such and such anime has a very toxic fanbase" or "So and so anime has such an annoy fanbase." I want to change it up and point out some good fanbases. So tell me what anime you think has the best fanbase. My only rule for this thread is that the anime has to be popular or at least very well known. To answer the question myself. I think that Fairy Tail has the best fandom. They know that Fairy Tail is hated by a lot of the Anime Community but I haven't seen them go out and threaten or harass people who don't like the series. Honestly if anything I think Fairy Tail hatedom is more toxic than its fandom. Because they'll call you all types of things for liking Fairy Tail |

| I've never seen Gintama, but i can tell 100% that this is the best fanbase. They are all in the shadows, and when the opportunity comes they kindly offer you to watch their anime, they will never go to disparage other anime. |

| I'm gonna agree with what quite a few people have said, which is Gintama. I don't recall any toxic behaviour, trying to force the anime onto people or discrediting other shows from their fan base. Which is extremely rare. Most fan bases tend to attack other shows/people or end up attacking their own fan base and dividing the fan base. |

| In my experience, the Madoka Magica fandom has always been super chill and with little to no toxicity. The Magia Record game branch of the fandom is also very nice and full of funny memes. It's probably my favorite anime fanbase in general. |
| I've seen a couple of ppl mentioning fma. Although I do agree that the fanbase is pretty chill, I heard there's a group of fma fanboys rating down other anime so that fmab remains number one. Not sure ? Anyway, trying not to be bias, I do believe Gintama has the best and most chill fanbase. Even before I completed Gintama. I don't see much toxicity and I agree with the points raised above. I will also bring up Steins;Gate based on my experience. Pretty chill |

I posted a video on the biggest subreddit of the anime , asking if a specific scene was a plot hole or not. It WAS a plot hole , and while many people had different explainations , it wasn't confirmed in the source material.. But instead of just accepting and moving on , they started calling me out. How I am an attention seeker and told me to pat myself in the back cause I found a small plot hole. Yeah. Sounds REALLY friendly. |
