It's weird seeing Goku fail, at least for such a long period of time.

Just 23 episodes to go? Damn.

Yet another episode i liked really showing goku's growth and how he significantly changes due to Mr. Pop's training.

The Goku doll looked like one of those Chinese knock-offs you'd find for like a quarter at a flea market.

The way this arc was initiated may of been bad, and the last filler episode may of been inconsistent with the story, but at least we're getting a good training arc again. The ways Popo is making Goku train his mind are really cool, especially with that battle he just had. Making him learn through experience. It's also cool how much he's struggling with it, especially comparing it to the first training arc when for example: Goku moves the boulder Roshi tells them will be the sign they're finished(iirc) first try. I feel like when Goku comes out of this he'll be a lot stronger, and it'll feel incredibly justified.
Not only him either, it hasn't been much yet but the way we've seen Ten's team training and searching for Karin gives them a lot to work with too. I'm glad this is living up to the past training arcs.

wait wasn't Goku still in the past with Roshi? I thought the start of the episode was a little jarring.

i was personally hoping for more of a focus on the side characters but i liked the themes of discipline in this one. the ending really helped set in how wild and undisciplined goku is right now.

Maybe Goku is tackling his training wrongfully. Goku, at the moment, is focusing on different parts of training. If Goku were to focus on one thing at a time, it could probably benefit him. Then again, damping his spirits may further improve him in the long run. And I have to say, Mr. Popo sure is very resourceful. Just imagine an army of Gokus descending into Earth. That Goku doll looked a bit disturbing and lifeless, but I found it cute.

It is so great to see Chiaotzu partaking in training with the others. It adds more adorableness to the whole thing.

Dolls sure are disturbing. It's interesting to see Goku fight against a doll that possesses equivalent strength, however. Gives him an idea of his strength, yet, he tackles his training wrongly and is easily distracted by other things.

The doll was equally strong as Goku. But Goku wasn't calm enough to see it. This doll is a better version of him. If he can beat this doll he can go to the next level. I am disappointed that the doll was out of its energy while Goku almost learned the way. I think he better try once more and also listen to Mr. Popo.

Others are heading towards the Korin's tower very fast. I hope they also find the tower and get stronger by taking Korin's training. They are also trying to train themselves by taking the difficult way. That is a good approach.

Army of Goku's, haha that would be destructive but on the other hand he needs a army of Goku's hair to build that army. Goku will loose so much of hairs, haha!!!

Good training episode with Goku fighting a clone doll of himself. Goku did show some brief signs of improvement even if Mr. Popo said that he hadn't. I'm referring when Goku dodged the doll's attack as he was standing at the edge of the platform.

It was also nice to see the rest of the gang doing hardcore training just as Goku had previously done but I think Goku is now on another level. Hopefully them meeting Karin will help narrow that gap.
