Heh, new mission. Boruto seems to have remembered what Sasuke mentioned to him before in one of the previous episodes. Too bad his father, Naruto is still so busy with work.

While the episode has some serious moments, I do find it more lighthearted compared to the previous arc so far. And Sai gets more screentime!

So is this still filler? Last week everyone was pumped because the filler was supposed to be over. This looks like filler to me.

I'm pretty sure the original Naruto had an almost identical filler arc as well didn't it?

It's astonishing how much filler this series has. Absolute dog shit.

If I could have one thing, I just hope Boruto wises up and uses his useless duplicate Naruto cards to buy himself a Sasuke card.

YO LET's GO Momo and manga content. It's been such a long wait but I'm really excited to see everything animated.

The held shot at the beginning of Boruto's Karma seal wasn't an accident.

Chapter was pretty much 100 percent faithfully adapted which is awesome. Next few months will be fun.

last week and the 4 before that weren't filler, they were editions for context to the Mujina bandits arc where we are now. They gave backstory to some characters

Also, technically none of Boruto is filler. Everything is approved by Kodachi and Ikemoto. It's all canon.

Btw the latest arc completly different from manga the anime made it's own version of manga which kindaa uncool they ruining manga imo they change boruto anime into kids cartoon it's not even look like pg 13 it look like pg 5 kid friendly series to be precise the way sarada looks and the way mitsuki speaks the way boruto acts is completely different hands down for me

I disagree! With the previous arc they made the mujina bandits more intimidating and they gave this arc more context and depth and it will make team 7 's final encounter with the boss better
Besides i don't like the how sarada is very sexualized in the manga and i prefer the anime version . Mitsuki ans boruto are almost the same in the anime and manga so i don't know what you're talking about and i prefer boruto's anime outfit more than the manga version
However i have to agree that the anime is sometimes childish :(
The studio is doing that on purpose to attract new fans (children) and they actually succeeded as boruto is very popular among japanese kids.
I hope that it will become more mature and darker though

That Tanto guy really deserved a punch. It would've shown him financial wealth is useless in front of a shinobi. Shinobi have been handed a better hand than spoiled brats with zero survival skills.

And yet he fell for the temptation of buying useless cards. Naruto's generation would've had better things to do with their money. I guess genin pay must be better in Boruto's generation, since they're fewer and live in a wealthier society.

Finally, we have canon.

Although it's a bit of a plot-hole how the Villiage's barrier was PeNeTrAtEd by the two Mujina member who're spying on the village.

We don't know what kind of people we truly are until the moment before our deaths.

I swear I've seen this episode before, or maybe the spoiled rich kid troupe has been used so much that it's all running together now.

I hope something is done about the character design for this show soon. It's not doing justice to the manga artwork.

Finally the anime started adapting the manga!!!! Although the episode had many original moments like the interaction between Iwabe and Tento (which I don't think was in the manga, and even if it was it wasn't this long). Let's see how the arc goes and what original component the anime mixes to this adaptation from the manga. And the question remains whether the anime will again go abck to making anime original episodes or finally start adapting the manga completely.

So kokuri was offed by kojuji, is then replaced by kojuji until released. He later says they know everything about his jutsu. This episode it is revealed his(kojuji)jutsu can not only transform himself into someone he has killed but also gets their memories. If that's the case, when boruto handed Sai the notebook in ep.147 with the contents of mujina gang, why didn't kojuji, who has kokuri's memories of writing the notebook, not say that the info was false on the spot as a security measure. (it's a 50/50 win loss chance in kokuri's eyes, let's be real, three kids protecting against a notoriously strong outlaw) it would seem like a reasonable enough excuse, he could then proceed to feed them false information as kokuri before he left. Is it because he lacks intelligence? That may not be the case. Kojuji can imitate anyone's appearance he has killed, meaning he must have killed his lieutenant, tsukiyo, before arriving to hozuki prison. He clearly showed he was skilled at espionage while in the prison, so why is it that he just allowed for the opportunity to lead his enemies astray at almost zero loss for him?

What are your thoughts on it?

I swear I've seen this already, maybe I've read it in the manga? But I've only read the first 6 tomes..

Esta bien el episodio, es un reciclado de lo episodio del niño rico de Naruto pero mientras lo hagan entretenido, yo me callo.
Vuelve la banda Mujina, seguramente van a hacer la tipica de intentar secuestrar al niño para extorcionar al padre o tal vez me sorprenden con otra cosa, veremos.

The episode is fine, it's a recycled episode of the rich boy from Naruto but as long as they make it entertaining, I keep quiet.
The Mujina gang is back, surely they are going to do the typical thing of trying to kidnap the child to blackmail the father or maybe they surprise me with something else, we'll see.
