I suppose the final confrontation with Melon will have some of the bad parts of the Tem's murder arc... except that this chimera stuff is even worse than anything Itagaki has written before! Dunno how legit that is, but if the manga is really coming to a close sometime this year, then this might be the "final form".

But honestly, Beastars by now feels as if events take place in two different dimensions. One is fairly grounded, that is the one where the interesting stuff happens. And then we have this distorted one with stands and where eating a moth gives you superpowers.

Wtf.... Just wtf... I really hope this isn't some stand user type of shit.

I don't like anything this plot, it's so random, when i finally thought that the whole story was coming together with the "an unheard-of word" this happens. WTF.

ALSO this chapter looks kinda rushed for some reason, and obviously, another semi-naked rabbit, i'm not complaining, but jesus... Again???

Man this thread is dumb... This so called stand is a reference to Baki. Baki can imagine creatures to become them during a fight. For proof look up Baki dinosaur.

pretty sure the entire chimera thing (same with the moth god thing) isn't supposed to be 'real', just things Legosi (and his opponents) really believes in. He DOESN'T HAVE a jojo stand, he just feels and strongly believes in that chimera persona (and changes his fighting style. lots of martial arts named after animals are meant to feel similar to said characteristics, making you FEEL like you're fighting the actual thing), just like the rabbit does.
Though it's probably my opinion, and I appreciate the idea.

i still don't know how to feel about the "imaginary chimera" but it is interesting. And I don't know what is Nine going to do that night. I mean, she is too bold and I kind of like that but i don't know if that is actually necessary

i was a little convinced that itagaki was off her rocker when i started catching up, but now i'm 100% sold. i'm still loving it but it's a giant what the fuck compared to the rest of the series by far.

To be honest, Kyuu-san is really cute...!!

Damn, this manga keeps going from super tense close to death moments and serious talks to stupid and funny moments like this and I love it :)
