This was a stretch to me. Black Zetsu is Aizen from Bleach...he wants me to believe he orchestrated every event in the story. The problem is this doesn't fit in with some things. Black Zetsu was speaking telepathically with Madara when he was revived by the reanimation (Madara was saying how Zetsu should retrieve the rinnegan while he fought the 5 Kage for fun). Black Zetsu had no prior contact with the reanimated Madara to make that conversation possible and they were hundreds of miles away from each other. The only way they can connect to each other like that is if Black Zetsu is in fact Madara's will incarnate.

The most nonsensical idea that I refuse to buy is that Black Zetsu could know that Madara was going to create a manifestation of his will at that exact moment, attack it to white Zetsu and somehow trick Madara into believing that he created him. I also find it absolutely implausible that Zetsu could have been manipulating reincarnates for 1,000 years and yet also be completely unknown for 1,000 years.

Zetsu doesn't have a Sharingan so he shouldn't have been able to even read the stone tablet anyway. There is nothing in the story that even suggests he might have Shaingan powers and even if he did you need an advanced Sharingan to decipher it.

I understand the old toad is really old, but I don't see how he would forget to mention to anyone the existence of Kaguya, especially all of his fellow toads. And yet there is no mention of her at all.

If planetary devastation created the moon, how did the Earth function all that time without a moon?

I had some continuity issues with this as well. Without the moon shouldn't there be total darkness on the earth? Why does the tree look like a tree but then close up its just a big ass log with a big ass flower on top? Why does haguramo go from regular sharingan to mongyeko to rennegan, I mean what happened to the other two or three in between? Why does that girl die from being in the tree but when they destroy it literally everyone including the children inside of it are still alive?

What an asspull of a story arc. I get that he just had to come of with some semi logical explanation for the asspull of Madera, obito, and kaguya at the last minute when the war could have ended with obito. Seeing zetsu as the mastermind almost makes you think he would be the next big bad to fight then somehow there would be yet another big bad and the war would never end. It's not terrible filler and obviously worth watching since its not on anime filler list. I will never watch all of this again but it's just so convoluted and contrived its not even funny anymore. So glad it's finished.

The messenger toad in the beginning was funny af. the trumpet sound when that third eye opens too lmao. Recap of the entire story. Crazy how this entire storyline is literally because of a black blob of liquid.

Well now that I have a rough idea of Naruto and Boruto, I know that Otsutsuki like Momoshiki and Kinshiki will play a huge role in Boruto and they were already teased in this episode.

The sage tag that was used on Hamura is kind of a hack tbh. Also, how did Hagoromo unlock Rinnegan by killing his brother? Don't you need 6 paths chakra for that? Did he already possess that?

Also how tf was Kaguya just 'controlling' Hamura? They didn't even explain that.

Well I guess we got all the lore and Black Zetsu's big plan that just to happened to take place so perfectly. Hasty writing at it's best.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa?

They had that planned from the beginning? Man, this whole Kaguya thing really has nothing to do with this entire story, it just feels like an extra add-on to somehow explain mysteries.

Author also continues to make it so nobody has to live with the consequences of their actions because the world is 'pure' in reality. Or something.

Kaguya was caught in a war, but her old madlady spiritual will influences all through her shadow.

I'm just awestruck they thought putting the moon princess into Naruto was a good idea. Surely there was a better way without completely regressing the story past its starting point.

Shadow boy's story is like a betrayal of the lore built up through the show, its mythos. Not only is it confusing, it's hilarious. Why do we need explanations?

I just wanted Naruto to grow and have adventures and fight snake guy. ):

i binged like a dozen episodes and wrote down my thoughts along the way so im just gonna post this at the most recent episodes to avoid spoiling anyone who isnt there yet. i wasnt even the biggest fan of madara ending the way he did, or sasuke and naruto becoming incarnates, but this arc and story is still my favourite. its everything leading up to this, the story, all of it. and naruto and sasuke ending by fighting whats the closest thing to a god that we know of, ONLY. MAKES. SENSE. hell isnt that why we watch shonen? to watch the MC go as far as he can? this is battle shonen and the way this story was told is always gonna be one of my favourites. theres two other series I love that go through this same fighting god thing. tho i wont spoil, one literally kills jesus basically and the other impresses god. when series create such a hierarchy of power and execute it well, AND the mc wins, it's just something thats rare so i appreciate it how well written this has become over time this arc we've seen naruto and sasuke basically run the fucking GAUNTLET of the power hierarchy here, while unlocking new powers themselves. they fought the strongest shinobi ever, and are now against kaguya. idk how its gonna play out but fuck am i excited

also, that part where kakashi had it eye stolen DRRIIIIVVEEE BY LMFAAOOO. Most embarrassing moment for kakashi ngl (ik madara strong asf but it still funny)

If ANYONE thinks sasuke and naruto six paths was an ass pull, im pretty sure they done been the strongest for a minute so something like this was bound to come. not to meniton zetsu waited over a THOUSAND years. this shit wasnt a fluke 11-23-22
