| My belief is she really thought Hiro was the Darling she was searching for all this time from episode one ''found you my darling'' and using the flashback episode as an example she has been testing Hiro over past episodes.. there is no second darling just the one.. When she fed him honey-covered food after telling him to say “ah”? She was testing to see if he remembered doing the same with the candy. When she asked him to run away with her? If he was really her Darling then he’d say yes. When she calls him Darling? That’s a word he gave her; he should remember it. She was trying to find that very same picture book so she could test him with it from episode 12.. episode 12 especially with the confession scene and all these examples led her to believe Hiro wasnt her darling after all and changed her view on him to fodder instead.. cant blame the dude with memory erasure.. but thanks to the mind meld thing he was able to remember and Zero Two realized she really did find her darling |

I want this too! However I would like to point out one thing, despite everyone assuming that Ichigo will die I believe that; It is not Ichigo, but GORO who will die Lets be honest, its always the nicest sweetest most undeserving people who get "offed" in anything - making Goro the prime target for deading imo - not ichigo :( I see it like this - Ichigo messes up in the Franxx with Goro/ or Hiro Goro somehow sacrifices himself for her and the team Ichigo sees the error of her ways because Goro is deaded and is very sorry There's no doubt in my mind that Ichigo is a badly written super macguffin which is why no one really likes her - she is nothing but a badly written plot device. However I could survive this series IF: Goro is not killed only hideously injured but alive, making Ichigo see the error of her ways, maybe start seeing Goro as her hero as opposed to Hiro being her hero... She does beg 02 to come back, realising that without her Hiro is doomed to death anyway. We get back to the world building and start the rebellion. Please. |

We've only ever seen it done by stamens. It seems logical that it could happen. Maybe the big battle begins, Ichigo is knocked unconscious by something, and Goro - trying desperately to save her one last time to prove his love or whatever - goes berserk. But we've never seen it, so it's a gap in our knowledge. It does seem plausible; that definitely seems like a Goro thing to do. |

Ichigo is just trying to protect the one she loves, nothing wrong with being selfish here. |

| In my opinion, Hiro will begin his hurlification because 02 gone away, Hiro wanted to have a serious discussion with her, but the team (and ofc, especially Ichigo) sets a distance between them. In result, Hiro will have a inside batlle with his feelings, that will result in a mood like "fuck this world, I'm out." or in an obsessionnal mood that he will messes up with the team and reject Ichigo. And why not, in the process, if the hurlification begin, gave him the same physical aspects as 02. I don't see a happy end for this show, all I see is the death of Hiro and 02 at least. (And/or a Deus Ex Machina of the resolving of Kloxozors thingy, that explain what are the childrens) |

It was a foregone conclusion, Ichigo simply made it clear that she and the team were perfectly okay with kicking Zero Two out after they were all attacked by her. She was allowed to stick around last time because she was useful. But now she crossed a red line even by the adults' standards. Did Ichigo fuck up? Yeah, probably. This will ruin Goro, and admitting her feelings probably won't work out for Hiro anyway. But from her perspective, she did everything she can to remove Hiro from a toxic, abusive relationship with someone who actively wanted to exploit him until he was dead. Finally having succeeded, in a fit of emotion now that he's finally safe, she kissed him and confessed to him. Blaming her for getting emotional like that shows a pure lack of empathy. |

| About the latest Darling in the Franxx episode..... Do I completely hate Ichigo? No. Do I resent her for what she did? Yes. Can she be forgiven through developments? Yes. The problem with characters like her is that they always try to selfishly force their own opinion onto others, refuse to try and understand their feelings, thus tearing Hiro and Zero Two apart because she "thinks" it's best for him. Developments can still save Ichigo's horrible character as I still think she can still be good friends with Zero Two. |

| That kiss was bordering on sexual assault. She literally forced herself on someone who was heartbroken, emotionally vulnerable, and clearly unwilling. I usually have a high tolerance for this sort of stuff in anime, but this was disgusting. So Ichigo knows Hiro will become like 02 and be out of reach for her - but at the same time they ALL know that if he is unable to pilot a Franxx he will be removed from the group and very probably killed.
