Given that horse girls have existed in that universe long enough for people not to be weirded out by them, it would stand to reason that the first thing you'd notice looking at their brain is an enlarged cerebellum to assist with their movements. It's possible that the auditory cortex would migrate to the top of the head, but more likely that the associated regions would have just rotated in some form or fashion, leaving the cortex in roughly the same place. |

| Well I didn't watch any PVs or anything for this so I didn't really know what to expect. Like I knew they were horse girls and they were gonna race or whatever, I knew all that and could have guessed it. But the part that takes me by surprise is that they are idols!?!? Man this is why I gotta research shows before I watch them. Why the fuck are they idols!? It's just so random to have an idol concert after the horse girl race. That's the only part that bothers me about this show. And only the winners are allowed to have idol concerts? Does that mean I will never get to see best girl Haru Urara in concert because she's slow as fuck? What a cruel cruel world. I only watched the first ep for now. The show itself is pretty fun and funny and they play with the concept in fun ways like the girl's names and the part where that guy was checking out her "hind legs" and then she horse kicked him in the face. Good shit. Not much else to say. I'll keep watching it. Also I'm kinda interested in horse breeding now, if you know what I mean. Highlights of the week are how fast this girl eats her food   and El Condor Pasa's English. |

| @avixena Well, it's never going to make sense, it's a dumb concept that only exists as an excuse to make a mobile game about waifus with cute animal ears. No one put much thought or time into the worldbuilding. It's nothing to do with Monster Musume, they're just both using the word "musume" for "girl" rather than the more familiar "shoujo." See also Ika Musume and a bunch of other stuff. https://myanimelist.net/anime.php?q=musume If you're aware of KanColle, the ship girls in that have the spirits of real battleships from our world. This is like that, it's an alternate earth where the spirits of racehorses from our world are somehow reborn as horse girls. The pregnant mother in the intro frieze is also a horse girl, leading to the question of where their lineage came from. Apparently they've existed throughout history, and it seems to be implied that real horses have never existed in that world. |
