Not at tread if that is what you thought. And you might just have seeing how the juxtaposition of that meme with the quote was pretty confusing. But if not, think about it. Should we really be writting an article about how people not shitting on the streets is a good thing for the prime minister? Are we really suppose to be congratulating this? Is that response... okay? I'm pretty sure this article was written in order to exclaim that outdoor defecation is down. We've been shitting on India for this problem for decades now, pardon the pun. But damn. All this article really did was show how much of a damn problem it is. So much so that you are congratulating yourselves for people not shitting on the streets anymore. Which should be common sense and par the course anyways. Especially if you are claiming yourselves to be up and coming world superpower. Just take a step back and realize how ridiculous this article is for a sec. Even with all that money spent some 7% percent STILL shit on the streets. After the government builds indoor toilets for them not to do so. Reminds me of the people who refused to go to government built housing and lived on the railroad tracks disrupting train traffic. I know India is trying to change. But the best way to go about this is to do so quietly and let people find out for themselves.
