It was a great feeling to actually find a mecha show which I believe deserves the hype. Okay, that makes sense. Also, if you want another mecha anime that actually deserves the hype, watch Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans. I am generally not a mecha anime fan either and yet it is easily on my favorites list. | Queen's Blade. I watched 8 episodes thinking that there was going to be some sort of appealing aspect since it was on Netflix at the time. It was just fanservice and nothingelse. The plot never progressed, the characters were meh and I disliked how it tried to take itself serious during these ridiculous fanservice scenes. I enjoy my dose of ecchi here and there but it just felt like it didn't fit and serious scenes felt off when clothes were flying off left and right. It would have been better as a hentai. lol |

I can reiterate the probably dozens of shot outs for Skeltr;Heaven, Mars of Destruction, Pupa, Diabolik Lovers, Abunai Sisters, etc but i'll give one that I doubt has many mentions and that's Escha & Logy Atelier; Alchemist of the Dusk Sky. True story - I've completed 1500 total anime, and over 14.000 episodes - and that remains the only anime I've ever fallen asleep during the middle of an episode. |

First one was ok, decent, entertaining, knew what it wanted to be and where it wanted to go, while it wasn't my cup of tea I could understand the appeal.. It was the second that was a complete mess, a disaster of epic proportions, a massive disappointment coming from R1 which did a good job creating an interesting set-up, it had everything working on its favor to deliver a great conclusion but it miserably failed to leverage anything of it, and I'll just never understand the ridiculous high praise it got. |
