| I would not drop a show because animation or MC i learn that after watching Jojo's Bizare Adventure i was judging the animation hard but holy show was it good i droped Hitman Reborn it was just too slow for me thats a reason id drop a show, then i thought the Monogatari series was only harem and ecchi i was so wrong pure gold. |
That's a legitimate reason though, not a petty one. I'd say for me, it was SnK, because I heavily disliked that they reused at least two up to five minutes of content from the last episode at the beginning of every new one. Pretty much ends up with 15 minutes of actual content per episode for a full length show. To add to that, they also put out two recap movies. What, do they think we're all goldfish who can't remember anything after a week has passed? They also reused A LOT of frames. |

| I dropped Asobi ni Iku yo! aka Cat Planet Cuties because the anime is just complete nonsense. Yes, I love eye-candy and a harem anime doesn't need to have a good story, but this one is complete nonesense... As long as you don't like the first 5 episodes of show (if it has 12 episodes) just drop it. The chance you'll like the 6th episode is 5% But it is because of those 5% I watch almost any show till the end. I once wanted to drop Blood+ after 10 episodes, but it turned out it's now one of my favorite shows. |

When she noticed the mistake, she instantly closed the door and apologised a lot afterwards, but he didn't accept it). I associated SAO w him and it ruined the experience. | I dropped FMA: Brotherhood after a few episodes because I couldn't stand how Ed's hair was coloured. It was so jarring and distracting to me for his hair to be the only one not outlined. Also I insisted it would taint my opinion of the first series and because I was so attached to said first series I couldn't bear the thought of that. Took me YEARS to come to my senses and give it another shot. Did not regret it at all. |

I think the pettiest reason in my opinion is, I tried watching it so many times and got bored so many times that now I can't watch it without being bored since I already know most of it. Or, I only watched it cause my friend wanted to watch it with me. Or, I got too lazy to watch it. Here's a list of all the reasons for all the shows I either dropped or put on-hold. 1. I got too lazy to watch it. 2. I wasn't excited enough while watching it. 3. I didn't understand it. 4. I didn't like it. 5. I only watched it cause my friend wanted to watch it with me. 6. It's too old. 7. It's too new. 8. It's too generic. 9. It's too unique. 10. I watched it on a whim. 11. I tried watching it so many times and got bored so many times that now I can't watch it without being bored since I already know most of it. 12. It's the same show except updated. 13. It's too sexual. 14. It's too random. 15. Too many episodes. 16. The plot is nonexistent. 17. It's one part of 20 different alternate realities in a series. |
