| Rest in peace to a fantastic legend in music. Linkin Park got me through my teen years, their lyrics really spoke to me and still do now I have hit 24. Sleep tight Chester, continue to inspire us all. I'm going to play "leave out all the rest" in his memory. :'( |
| LP is the band that got me into metal, and I haven't gone back since. Definitely a big loss to the hard rock scene, regardless of where LP was headed at the time of his death. Very unfortunate and sad, indeed, but no one can claim to know what anyone else is going through. |

| RIP. Last year my favorite singer Kouji Wada died and now Chester, which means my favorite band is most likely done. Two months ago, Chester's good friend Chris Cornell comitted suicide and today is his birthday. It's probably one of the reasons Chester made this unfortunate decision. |

| Woke up in the morning and the first message on my mobile was about Chester's death. A bad way to start my day. Linkin Park was my childhood, and still one of my favorite bands. I remember listening to my first LP song, Numb. 'Somewhere I Belong', 'What I've Done and 'Breaking The Habit' would probably be my top 3 songs by them. I can't believe I won't be able to go to see them live now or listen to any new songs. You'll always be remembered Chester. RIP. |

| linkin park was my gateway to rock/metal in 4th grade, ever since i was in love with chester's voice (im 19 now), i still love LP's songs till this day. its kind of ironic how chester killed himself right after he met $uicideboy$ (rap duo) at a music festival at sweden a few days prior. rest in peace chester, you've left a legacy of great music behind you. |
