| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Usually after a few episodes I find myself skipping past the OP but I just can't seem to do it for this show. The music is so nice and calming, it sets the mood nicely for the episodes. Jun was extremely enthusiastic this episode. The flying squirrel getup in the end was a little overboard though. |

| The flying squirrel man was a manifestation of Jun's strong pride in his accomplishment. He's just a kid after all. I like how the crows were depicted in this episode. The scene in which the kids discussed the resourcefulness and toughness of the crows in having to build the nest out of coat hangars seemed to emphasize that the crows shouldn't be considered bad. Sure, they attacked Donguri, but, like any other creature, they just want to survive. Perhaps they intended to salvage through the trash bags and the squirrel was in their way? In a similar sense, the wind can be useful, but it can also be dangerous and even deadly, as seen in episode 2. Like the crows, the wind is neither nor bad; it just exists. |

| Flying squirrel episode. There really is no shortage of good literal windy tales here, well, so far at least. I liked how this episode went by, the teaching was nice and everything played out as you would imagine an anime like so should do. Looking forward to more. |
