| You may not get bored of it but you may not be able to find time or place for it, especially once you start raising a family. It's not a bad idea as you get tons of anime to binge watch during your holidays and it would be a good recreational activity for your family if they are also interested. |

| There are instances when I stop watching anime for months at a time (usually when I shift to watching Asian dramas, variety shows, Western TV shows, etc) but I still end up coming back to anime esp. when something good is coming up. So I can't really imagine myself ever stopping. Probably when I'm dead... since, you know, it's not like I'll have a choice by then. lol |

| Probably will once I run out of shows that seem interesting/good. I imagine once I run out of stockpiled shows and I'm not waiting on any new shows to come out I will drop my anime habits. I may still rewatch some shows but that'll tail off at some point. I love anime as a storytelling medium, but the industry is just too limited to produce substantial quality content season after season :( |

OT: Who knows, I've been through periods where I've gotten really burnt out on anime and haven't watched anything for long periods of time. But I've been watching anime for quite a long time now, since childhood if you include the stuff I used to watch back then, such as Dragon Ball, Pokemon and Digimon. I don't see myself ever growing completely bored of animu, but time will tell. Based on reports from complete strangers who met me for the same, I am quite fun. I see nothing wrong with addressing trends in communities. The evolution of a single word is quite a fascinating subject and I'm part of that experience. |

| Hmmm well I don't think I will stop cause watching anime isn't something I need but something I love just like watching tv or listenning to music. I mean when I finish my work and I am home rather than going out or wasting time with my friends I will just watch an anime especially that I am not someone who think about having a family (especially kids). |

New ones are constantly being made and a good one would eventually come out. Your argument only stands for why someone would take a break. I was halfway joking. I'm saying why they think they would run out is they have limited tastes and think it would only appeal to their current selves but their older selves wont. This comes from a lack of experience in other stuff or a stubbornness to want to try out something else. So they would think they would get oversaturated in the same thing or outgrow it. |

| I'd say I've stopped watching anime but I just heard about that new Kino's Journey so it's back on the table. Also I re-watch the anime movies I own all the time as well as the occasional Mushishi DVD episode so I guess I will... never... stop. |
| I don't think I'll ever stop watching just like I will always watch youtube vids etc. I think it might dramatically scale down. Already onlyn watch 3 shows a week now. That's like, what, 1 hour a week total of anime watching, that's low af |
