K-ON, I really don't know why, I just really liked that show

Panty and Stocking - Scooby Doo manages to have hundreds of episodes and that's just a ghost of the week show like Panty and Stocking.

Except instead of a group of mild mannered teenagers catching amusement park owners dressed up as ghosts we would get a pair of slutty foul mouthed angels blowing the motherfucking shit of badass ghosts.

Personally I would like a new chapter every week but not forever. I prefer anime with a defined story and an end than episodic show forever (just my taste, nothimg against who love episodic shows)

Nothing, length kills series. Give me multiple shows that are well planed out and run their course in 1-4 seasons and actually end well with a good conclusion instead.

At the very first second I thought I would say Kill la Kill, but no, I don't really want any of my favourites to continue forever. All of them are great, closed stories, making them longer wouldn't do any good.

I could watch Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu! all the time though. Never enough of some laugh.

I think K-On! could work as a never-ending idol anime if they just focused on the kouhai of the previous season. It would have to be aired during the day and target younger females for them to allow it to air forever, though.

Well Naruto and One Piece are like that no? Anyway I'm talking about just a continuation so you can see more of the characters you love.

Gintama. I'd like to see more of Hunter X Hunter too though, it had lots of potential in world building, it's a shame that we won't see a new season for quite a while, if ever that is.

Gotta be a more episodic focused series. One Punch Man would be a great option if it was episodic and had proper writing focused on being episodic. But, definitely in my opinion, Mushishi is the option, I could watch it forever, so many stories to be told.

Hmm this is tricky. It'd need to be something episodic without a real "plot", like many have mentioned before me, or else it'd definitely get boring eventually. I'd have to say something like Handa-Kun or Sakamoto Desu ga, or Yuru Yuri.

Not quite. I can't speak for One Piece but Naruto's story quality is inconsistent and has lots of filler and long pointless flashbacks. I wouldn't call that well-planned out. There are definitely some really great arcs, but the whole show isn't like that, there are also some really stupid and boring arcs/characters. Plus what I mean by 1-4 seasons is 1-52 episodes and Naruto is a lot longer than what I generally want.

You see, I like it when shows are of a reasonable length and end. I don't really want something that's just a never ending journey without a conclusion. Having a conclusion puts the journey into perspective. TV shows and it's characters are like house guests, they are nice to have around once in a while, but having them around all the time would be annoying and you'd have no time for other things. If none of the series I started ever ended then my Watching list would be huge and unmanageable, so I try not bite off more than I can chew and usually try to stick to shorter stuff (Or at least what I think is, sometimes I'm wrong, and get into something that ends up being much longer than expected). Second, if the show is shorter it's less expensive to own for me if I decide I want to buy it, which is advantageous for me since I'm a DVD/BD collector. This is of course just something I try to do. I do and have watched long series as exceptions to the rule, I'm just way more choosy about it.

Mushoku Tensei is the best harem light novel out there and Rudeus is my man'. . .

The only Anime I've watched that I think could ever fit the bill is Mushishi. The format fits, not requiring plot arcs or continually more absurd asspulls to remain engaging, and it's so relaxing that it could serve as a weekly de-stress for a lot of people.

Being gorgeous with fantastically soothing music doesn't hurt it at all either.

Mushishi, I don't see myself ever growing tired of it. Space Dandy and Kino's Journey are both close second and third places.
