To Love Ru is probably one of the lewdest ecchi out there. According to fans it's borderline hentai, and I must admit the bits I saw were... very graphic :3

To love ru is a great and a very lewd show. The best thing about it is that it has the harem tag and it really goes the harem route.

Yes.... I actually dredged through the first season fine enough.... But I got really tired of it and just harems in general since most of them tend to be open ended or favoring my least liked character.

Time passes pretty fast. I can already imagine people saying everything made before 2015 is "too old" and unwatchable in a few years. Man...

Well a bunch of stuff released today looks seriously unwatchable so they might have a point huehuehue.

If u want Rom-com try Seto no Hanayome

Also try watching Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai

Chobits might be old but give it a shot mate.
Why do we have to live in such a cruel world?

No, it's about the female characters servicing the MC.

Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun is a pretty sweet and overall decent romance anime albeit not your usual cliché romcom.

To be fair, the Kare Kano manga is much longer and I think the art overtime is better than the anime. The manga was one of my first series and I treasure it to this day, moreso than the anime. It deserves an updated remake…

for a harem fans like me, i would said
"NO!"

don't watch it m8. it has a huge amount of nudity in it. moreover you don't like hentai.
well, it has a bit of romance in it but not as big as the amount of the nudity...
so, i suggest you to not watch it. watch ano natsu de matteru or tora dora instead.

while you are still pure, don't touch those dirty things. you would never be back to normal again if you touched it

It's borderline hentai, there's basically no story and at the end of each episode pretty much nothing has happened to change the status quo in any way.

Honestly i'd just go watch some porn instead.

No, it's a deep commentary on existentialism surpassing even NGE and Ghost in the Shell.

Honestly, I'm not sure what you were expecting. I haven't watched To-love-ru but I've seen some webms and it's pretty good 👌

Then you don't want 99% of romance anime, especially not To Love Ru. Try something like Lovely Complex, Ah My Goddess, Kimi ni Todoke, Itazura no Kiss, or Orange instead.

Yes, it kinda is. Though the 1st season is complete garbage in all aspects and I honestly wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It really picks up in quality, especially the ecchi aspect of it, in the very first OVA's after the 1st season.

To Love Ru is a fine example of ecchi comedy. While the characters might be pure and innocent (except Momo and the rich girl), the show itself is not. For example, the male lead is more likely to accidentally grab boobs than to hold hands.
I think you would find less fanservicey shows like Nisekoi more to your liking.

Uh...yeah.

It's the greatest ecchi ever and if you discount season 1 every single episode from Season 2, all the OVAs, and the 2 Darkness seasons have uncensored nudity.

But the nudity isn't what makes it great, it's how they use it and it's mostly likable cast.

And no...it's not hentai, there is no sex, just a gratuitous amount of borderline situations with 10 different girls...

The anime is damn good, but the manga is godly....they pretty much get away with anything they want.

Seriously, they even show uncensored pussy.....Yabuki has no shame...and that's why we love him.

Pretty much borderline hentai. They said ecchi comedy which is true. The first cour was definitely not a borderline hentai, just a mere ecchi rom-com until the second cour and so on.

If you don't want to get tainted, don't watch any generic ecchi genre out there.

Here are some shows that have the type of romance you're looking for:
Akagami no Shirayuki-hime (probably the best example I've seen recently)
Cross Game (another strong contender)
Kamisama Hajimemashita
Noein
Shion no Ou (some gore early on)

Dennou Coil isn't a romance, but there are hints of romantic interest toward the end. There are hints in Ikoku Meiro no Croisee but again just hints.

There's a potential romantic triangle in Chihayafuru, but Chihaya herself is oblivious.

Shows with older characters but not ecchi
Nodame Cantabile (college students)
Toshokan Sensou (military recruits)
Planetes (astronauts)
Saiunkoku Monogatari (young nobles in a faux-imperial Chinese setting)

You might also try the currently-airing Orange, though the lead girl can be annoyingly dense at times. School Rumble is a fun romp about high-school romance, trhough nothing ever gets resolved. It has few moments that might be considered ecchi, but they're pretty tame. Here's a good example so you can decide whether it's something you feel comfortable watching. (The guy is in love with "Tenma-chan," a friend of the two girls who appear in this scene.)

Actually, it's a treatise on the theme of free will, illustrating the idea that the universe is unyielding in its control over our destiny and we are powerless before it, i.e. free will is an illusion; a myth.

Yuuki Rito is the fulcrum of a cosmic battle between positive and negative powers. One opposes him, for instance by interfering with him whenever he tries to confess his love to the girl he likes (two words: stampeding elephants), or putting him in compromising positions that cause everyone to misjudge his character. The other supports him, by causing all the girls around him to fall in love with him despite him not being particularly charismatic. The interplay of these forces on his life is what drives the story, and nothing Rito does can change that.

Consider also that Yuuki Rito is designed to be the quintessential everyman, the person we all see ourselves as. Not remotely perfect, but still a good guy. He's the personification of that inner voice inside us that sometimes just wants to shout, "It's not my fault!"

Thus, we are meant to project the themes of the show, such as the cosmic struggle between opposing forces, upon ourselves. We are the fulcrum of our own cosmic struggles, as powerless to change our destiny as Rito is. To Love-Ru is nothing short of a Kafka-esque drama disguised as an ecchi harem comedy anime.

Aw, who am I kidding? To Love-Ru is smut, plain and simple. And that's why I like it!

Well the original manga (first 2 anime seasons) is mostly a light-hearted romcom, but still a bit on the lewd side occasionally. The sequel manga however (season 3 and beyond) is about as erotic as it gets without being hentai sooo yeah

does it have an actual plot or is a constant harem? On and off relationships that lead no where and 100 characters?

School Days is the most innocent and pure romance anime.

Just stick to more traditional romance anime like Denpa Onna, Inu x Boku, and Princess Tutu rather than going for the Highschool DxD type ones even though you're obviously too young for them.

The original is mostly episodic romcom stuff without much in the way of progression. There is a story of course but it doesn't exactly move along very fast (it's a bit like Nisekoi on that front)

The sequel ironically has a lot more story despite the severely ramped up ecchi level which is pretty rare to see
