All the games in the Infinity series are seperate. They take place in the same "world" per say, but as you said they're both self-contained stories with very little connection to each other. That being said, Never7 is decent (I find Ever17 to be the better of the two, but that seems to be the popular opinion, anyway). I'd say you should read them both eventually, to be honest. Also as a side note, if you like those two, don't forget about Remember 11 or I/O. |

You can play better vidya or read more worthwhile VNs than that with your time. I do recommend Remember11 and I/O, they're both pretty good. Root Double also released last month and has a similar setting to Ever17 (people trapped in a disaster and must get away) plus it has one of the directors of Ever17 IIRC, so I will give it a shot. |
| @SH4kun Never 7 is definitely the worst one (imo) out of the Infinity series, I'd agree. It has a charm to it i guess, but i can definitely see people not enjoying this one. I'd say Never 7 is one of those you'd go back to when you've exausted most of the popular options. |
| I've read it without reading never 7 and I had no problem. Also, I wouldn't recommend I/O. Like at all. |

| Tryin to get Ever17 on my phone lol gotta do all this conversion and shit into VNDS or suttin lol wish their was an official one out there coz PC the resolution sucks and its all tiny n shit, looks bad stretched so that ain't an option. |
