Hi, Tomboy, it's Xapper from AU.

People in the AU Discord were wondering if you would be interested in joining; I can give you the invite link. On other news, AU is being brought back by Meow.

Yeah pretty much.

Tbh apart from that subject, I also really liked how it asked to follow the wishes of every child ; since each of them are special and have separate qualities. One thing I have always hated(even got into an argument that day) is how people like to compare students or their children, everyone has their own quality, let them develop and try to inspire them to become a good human being all around.
Yeah, tbh lots of progression about laws have been made in these past few years, starting from juvenile justice, suicide, fundamental rights, etc. Even now there is a big topic going on, let's hope for the best.

Oh right that reminds me to watch it, soon maybe. I remember getting that same inspirational feeling recently by reading Space Brothers.

Honestly it's one of the few Indian films I really liked along with the likes of Taare Zameen par.

Yeah I mean that's always the case for anything, remember 3 Idiots? Just go for something that you want, or you want to achieve, instead of following, listening to others, the problem comes with the various hurdles in that. Good that you found your raison d'être for your profession.

I am of the same opinion.

Hmm I see.

Maybe, but the problem is from 6th sem, the top 20 students out of all are given a separate grade/degree(this is mainly present in a few old govt. universities) which are mainly required for higher studies, and also adds to your CV for corporate jobs. Even if I don't get that chance, I am interested in neither, since talking about fields, like I said I want to try for government legal jobs or district/state level advocacy, where these things don't matter(maybe in interviews for those jobs but that depends more on your personality/score in written exam there). However I really doubt how many people are willing to listen to me(my choice) in the first place, anyway just hoping to get some average to decent score now and get some good score in the core subjects like criminal law and constitution in this sem.

That's an interesting system you got there, but bad luck I guess. Well that's not too bad cgpa so you can always make up.

Imo it matters only if you are going for corporate firms(I am talking about my field), which I am not interested in. Still I am losing my sleep as my semester result will be out in a few days and economics went awful due to its tough paper. Christ will be good for corporate placements I think
Yeah obviously, I only told how grades affect your chances in this field, ofc it will vary. Even here if you are interested in research, you need excellent grades ofc.

Lol I see. Well that's good to know at least. Nah I am studying in university, took up law, things are alright but not really trying that hard for results, since they will only matter for masters which I am not interested. Will have to give job exams anyway or go for the advocate line

I mean still, they said forums would be available last Monday but no news now. At this rate it will take a year lol. How is engineering life going btw?

Probably but no idea how the hell they are taking more than one and a half month to fully restore the site. Guess rewriting the code from the scratch or something
Frostbytes Jul 16, 2018 6:45 AM
Security issues from what I heard, no news about what actually happened.
Frostbytes Jul 15, 2018 11:27 AM
