Have U come across Gods that you deem Cool and Bad ass ?
Are Pagan Gods Myth or Exaggerated Stories ?
I like Zeus from Greek Mythology . I like his appearance and Him being a Thunder and Lightening God similar to Indra in Hinduism .
I have come across Odin , Thor and others through Valkyrie Profile .

Let me tell you , for some God is not someone who created Universe but Beings that lived within Human Societies and shaped them . Might sound Blasphemous for some faiths , LOL .

My Favorite God is Vishnu but I am culturally a Shiva Devotee .

I like old testament God he was honest about what he was, no bullshit for likes or to appeal to the masses. I'll take a brutally honest God over a God who just pretends to be nice or does things to be liked.

Then again I prefer that for everything from politicians, favorite characters ect

On another forum some guy said God of New Testament and Old testament are different . God who created Adam and God who punished Them were different .

No Clue ! I am Confused .

The most badass mythology around is the Nordic one.
The most badass one for me would be perhaps TYR he put his freaking arm in the jaws of Fenrir... It's a long story why. Well he lost his hand

Thor battled with jormungandr which is freaking enormous. He won but died from the poison tho.

Pretty much every god from the Nordic mythology did something badass

Greek mythology feels super boring for me. Maybe because it's so common.

Greek Gods always annoyed me. For attempting to scare the people for sinning when they themselves sin daily and break their own rules. I think just plain old christian God has to be my favorite, simply because he actually had the welfare of his people on his mind.

That would be Bast / Bastet.

What makes you think it is 3? In trinitarian Christianity there is the Holy Trinity, the father, the son, and the holy spirit. In Hinduism there is Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva if I remember right. The other ones though Im not sure what criteria you are using for main gods.

I thought pagans have 3 major deities separated from others like greeks and one of them happens to be thunder/storm God .

I am playing legend of heroes and game uses a goddess named Durga . Are there any religion other than hinduism that has Durga , Goddess associated with lion or Tiger .

Ragnarok and the gods dying are likely a Christian propaganda (remember that the guy who recorded them was a priest) to tell pagan adherents that their gods can die whereas Christ comes back. This idea's pretty common among people who study Norse religion. The rest of Norse mythology is pretty great though.

No, just in Hinduism is there a goddess named Durga. There are various lion, tiger, cat goddesses though. There are at least 15 kemetic ones alone. There is at least one in other various mythologies.

Gods.

Yeah they are pretty interesting, Especially their origins or systems, hierarchies, army's, heaven and hell. The differences and similarities.

Gods representing a trait or element. The territories within their own control.

I love Egyptian gods over the Roman or Greek ones. I'm not religious at all but biblical stories and shit are pretty cool if you think of it as fiction.

Shinto gods are also very interesting, the story of Yamata no Orochi is pretty cool. I got introduced to Shinto mythology through the game called Okami which probably sounds weeby, I have no clue. It's an amazing game though.

Norse mythology also sounds like a cool thing to read up about since I don't know much of it.

The Odyssey taught me that Greek gods are the biggest idiots ever, yet they get pushed so hard for some reason. Athena didn't even make any sense. She was able to impersonate other people yet she didn't really seem to consider the ramifications of doing so. What would happen if the person she was pretending to be happened to turn a corner and saw her standing there? What a wise and responsible goddess.

On the other hand, Egyptian mythology is pretty cool. Figures like Horus and Osiris actually came across as benevolent deities rather than elaborate trolls, and Set is rad as an antagonistic figure.

Yes, Baphomet was never a god, just propaganda from fear of the Knights Templar.

There are 12 olympians so they are the main ones. The titans preceded the Olympians and there also was 12 of them. The number 12 is present in many religions. Jesus's 12 disciples. The 12 zodiac signs. There is a story in Norse mythology where 12 gods were at a feast in Valhalla but Loki showed up being the 13th causing trouble lading to the death of Balder so the company of 13 was considered bad luck.

13 is lucky in some cultures if I remember right.

I am a bit confused why a four leaf clover is considered lucky because the three leaves are used to represent the trinity so why would a four leaf be lucky?
