| Do you know any anime that is around 50 eps? I would like to get into something long but not too long and 50 eps seems about right. I don't mind the genre. I've already seen hayate no gotoku just in case you thought about suggesting it. |

Are there more *recent* animes like that with long duration per episode? Not that i know of. But dont skip over Isekai just cause of animation. I put it off for a few months due to that and i was so happy i gave it a chance, because it is now one of my favorite anime. After watching that and like 2 other anime with lower quality/odd animation, i now dont bother to put anime off due to it, and it is so much better. Give it like 3 episodes at least and you will forget all about the animation if you enjoy the story. |

| Bakuman- 3 seasons and 25 episodes each. A little longer than 50 episodes but probably one of the best animes I have ever seen. The story of 2 guys aiming to be famous manga artists. Shakugana no shana- also 3 seasons for almost 75 episodes but really good. Supernatural, action/romance anime about a guy who dies and helps a girl fight things that eat souls. Cross Game- good sports/romance anime about an amazing baseball pitcher and his rise to power. About 50 episodes. Code Geass- awesome psychological/thriller anime for 50 episodes. Guy can do mind control and uses it to try and take down a corrupt empire Bakemonogatari- has several seasons and i'm not sure how many episodes but it's around 50. It's a supernatural show with great dialogue and very good animation (shaft production). |
