| Chances that Cal is dead are 0%. This show doesn't have the guts to kill her so easily. Anyhow, this episode reminded me why I liked this show so much before. It was great. Full of suspense, some killing, not too much though, and scene with Ein and Zwei on that train. Last thing is the one that worked best for me, since with those 2 on screen, I really feel like there are some real, sad emotions, unlike Cal and Reiji, which reminds me of father and daughter. noteDhero said: Fuck that...the only ending I'll care about is everyone dying. You know, this came to my mind when I was watching 10th or so episode. It would really be the best ending. However, I seriously doubt it, this show is nowhere close to that ending. | I keep underestimating the fact that this is based off of a visual novel, and that, in my history, visual novel adaptations have a tendency to seemingly kill characters, reneg and then have a happy ending. So you may be right, or the three all live to some extent. |

| Liked the episode, but I don't care much for the Godoh guys. The short meeting between Ein and Zwei was nice. There's no way Cal is dead - they won't kill her off that easily. |

| No way Cal is dead, if they were really going to kill her they would have done it in a way you could actually see. This way they can get out of it very easily, I'm sure she was out doing some late night shopping or something. I wish they wouldn't bother pretending to kill people, I would be enjoying this series much more if it weren't for the magical survival of Reiji, Ein, and soon Cal after they "died." |

And you're right, everything about Cal just capture my heart and keep making me wishing for her happiness. I know Elen deserves some love too since she was going through harshness as Cal but for some weird reason, I never really cared much about her. But oh well, whether its Ein's true ending or Cal's, Cal will wind up happy in one way or another anyway....Unless they wanna go for another bad ending as in the OAV, thats another story... |

| The best episode of the series by far, well-directed, sensible in terms of script and with mostly great developments. After the (false) truth has been revealed, a lot of things will change once again. Wonder what will happen to Cal (Ein and Zwei didn't die when they clearly should have, so I guess Cal isn't dead either). noteDhero said: Fuck that...the only ending I'll care about is everyone dying. | Woooow. Cal isn't really dead, is she? She can't be! What is Reiji going to do if he loses her?! : ( And the plot thickens. I really liked Claudia too, I'm kind of disappointed that she's so conniving. But damn, it only serves to make the story more and more interesting. |

| Watched episode 17 and no... Cal.. :/ Though she wont die just like Reji and Elen, Its still sad to think that Reji thinks it. The flashblack scenes that played in Reji head was heartbreaking because of what came after. Really enjoyed all the Cal and Reji scenes so far. Never played the VN, but I'm hanging out for a Cal ending. The shower scene was touching. Interesting how they made it slightly ambiguous, heheh. Loved how both of them grew from being around each other, Cal was able to crack Reji's shell and gradually lift him from the darkness, While Cal was able to learn things from Reji so she would feel/and be able to become more usefull, and ultimately she found someone she loved. Quite touching. I dont care for Claudia but she has been an strong active player in the show, who didn't enjoy seeing her plotting agaisn't Wisemel. |

| Claudia's the best because she refuses to be a victim of her circumstances and chooses to fight and learn for herself. Yeah, she's power hungry, but she's the most fleshed out of the capable people in this show (doesn't say much, I know), so that's why I like her. |
| It's looks like there was a Benz there... briefly shown before the explosion. This is very close to the end of Chapter 2 in the game. The preview to the next episode appears to show the emergence of the Zahlen Schwestern. |

| uuu~~~~ I cried so much for Cal at the end... I truly don't and can't understand why people hate her so much? She's such a good and lively character. And she's just a kid in her early teens, I guess. I felt awful to accept the explosion... and thankfully, after reading this DeathfireD said: Ya I'm pretty sure Cal and Claudia got away. They show a brief shot of the inside of reji's apartment and Cal is no where to be seen. It looks like she was taken out of there in a hurry. I'm strongly convinced that Cal is alive and was taken away by Claudia. So Claudia is most likely ran away. Perhaps, she plans to use Cal in order to not lose control over Reiji. Moreover, that explosion scene in front of Reiji eyes was probably done by Claudia too. That's how she directs Reiji against Inferno and Scythe. I might be horribly wrong with this prediction.. but I still like it ^^ |

I guess the last few episodes were a bit bleh, so this episode kinda makes up to it. |
