| Guts realized that his "dream" was already accomplished when he was with the Band of the Hawk. However, I still maintain that there is beauty to his "dream"......wanting to stand on his own two feet without being in the shadow of another person. I think Caska is right, that Guts continuing on would be a service to Griffith's words so long ago. But, leaving her?...I dunno. |

| I'm going to assume for my sanity & blood pressure levels that this will be a strategical, temporary goodbye and not a "break up" or long term goodbye. That said, seeing Griffith broken and quivering on top of Casca was distressing. I hope that was pure emotion and not plotting. |
| I can't help but wonder if Griffith's move with Casca wasn't a subtle and very smart manipulative maneuver to keep her with him... How funny it is Guts feels his dream was accomplished by being with the Band of the Hawk now, when this entire disaster -- a disaster that ruined the lives of countless people -- would've been averted had he realized that before ever leaving the Band to begin with. |

| I can't tell whether Griffith was trying to get laid with Casca or trykng to convince her to not go with Guts by showing how weak he was. Either way that's not a very nice thing to do especially after being the aggravator events that happened in the first place. |
