Only real show I miss is Animaniacs, but I guess it's probably just because I was born a little too late for most the shows. I have better memories of early/mid 2000's shows like Ed Edd n Eddy.

Some shows back then were pretty good, but I think it's subjective. There will always be good and bad shows.
Just need to find out how to quote this every time so I can dodge the stupid 30-character limit.

Most people that grew up in the 90s miss them, kids that grew up in the 80s think a lot of the shows were good at the beginning but got bad in later seasons and the rest think they are rip offs of older shows or never heard or watched them. So yes?

Yeah, I really miss all of the good 90's Nick cartoons.
Cartoon Network had some good stuff too.

I do like Adventure Time a little bit, though, because I like Princess Bubblegum.
She's cute and funny.

I have an invader Zim shirt where Zim and gir are dressed up as rocket racoon and groom :)

Though adventure time was pretty good, it actually gets pretty dark at times, the main bad guy is just possessed and crazy but is a really nice guy for real.
I kinda fell for the show when I accidentally stumbled on to it and these fairies were killing old ladies lmao

I gotta say Spawn was a testament on the boundaries of animated series can push. Really goes to show you the level of difference that was in the past and today.

Miss shows like this.

BTW The Violator (The Clown) puts The Joker to shame.

Also, I gave up all my love for regular cartoons when I discovered anime.

Agreed. The show had a dark theme, that pushed the envelope.

It had it all. Police work, romance, supernatural being, corruption, politics, revenge and redemption.

Truly a great show. Just wished they finished the series and showed Spawn fighting Malebolgia.

Btw I can't stress enough how well the voice acting in this show is. Truly top notch.

Who doesn't?? Rugrats, the powerpuff girls, animaniacs, early spongebob, courage the cowardly dog, hey Arnold!... Those were good times. Although I'd argue early 2000 shows were just as good. For example: what's new scooby doo, teen titans, totally spies, the grim adventures of billy and Mandy, my life as a teenage robot, Danny phantom, Kim possible, etc. (I'm probably biased since I liked those better and watched them more but whatever haha). But honestly, I feel like 90s culture continued pretty strongly until 2005 or 2006. That's when I think things started changing. YouTube was created, Apple started making iPods, and most importantly, we found out Pluto was in fact not a planet. 90s culture died after that...

I miss them mostly because of the nostalgia and the innovation. It seems like cartoons are becoming more and more generic as the time goes on, but that's not particularly good or bad.
