Curious to see people's opinions on how the different arcs of Tokyo Ghoul and Tokyo Ghoul:re stack up. Feel free to rank them all in a list and vote for your favorite. Here's my rankings:

I've yet to start Re:, and I'm not exactly solid with any placement in this list; they each fluctuate at certain points and Kanou's lab is probably higher than it should be because of Naki.

Eh this kind of poll mighy be fitting for tg but I think it's too early to decide the best arc from tg:re since I dont think we are even half into the story yet.

Anyways, I will just rank arcs from tg and re separately.

TG
1) Anteiku Raid arc
2) Aogiri arc
3) Prologue Dove Emergence arc
4) Raid on Kanou's Lab arc
5) Gourmet arc

TG:re(for the time being)
1) Auction arc
2) Torso/Serpent Investigation
3) Nutcraker investigation

Well I dont really attached to Kaneki(while I love Sasaki) as much as other people are( I am more interested in other characters) so that's probably why I choose big arcs that involve many characters to be on top of my list.

This recent auction arc probably tops my list out of TG universe. So many characters involvement in just one arc, I seriously love every single chapter of it!

The action, feels and development of the plot and characters really makes up the lack of my favorite characters appearance such as Touka, Yomo and Arima(well he did appear(randomly!) but well I want moree lol)

I do not really like the Lab arc, although the Centipede was amazing and I enjoyed how the twins have been shown, whenever that three masked of the Banjou group + Naki and his men appeared, the tension disappeared and looked like a shounen manga any, and the fight between them and Amon + Akira was horrible.

Anteiku raid is not at first because although it has a beginning and end bright, the medium was incredibly rushed and poorly designed in several scenes (CCG vs Yoshimura end), which is not to say that has not had some good times.

And I think nutcracker already part of the auction arc, sinc that only used her as a connection point and were investigating about the auction from Chapter 12.

Interesting results so far. I was actually predicting Aogiri arc would get the most favorites but I'm not surprised either that Anteiku Raid is at the top. Imo Aogiri arc, Anteiku Raid, and the Auction arc are the top tier arcs in TG and all three are pretty close for me. Not to say the other arcs are bad at all. Even my least favorite ones I still think are better than what you see in 90% of other manga.
