He copied each sword and collided them to destroy both, which is kind of foreshadowing for the final fight in the series. Well yea, it could have been better. The only bad thing about it is that it isnt like in the VN.Shirou projecting a single sword and swinging it to destroy one incoming sword is better than suddenly using sword spams. The two things not making sense in the scene is Archer projecting inside UBW(what a waste of mana) and firing single swords at Shirou.It's more like a test than actually trying to kill him. |

That was projection, there was absolutely 0 difference between the SFX used in UBW and the swords projected last episode. Maybe if they made it red or something or at least slightly different. There's no reason to think that was different magic. |

| With "buff" i mean the fact that I repeat, stop using VN NP lore here. It was clearly shown that it is handled different here. Gae Bolg, God Hand and even Gate of Babylon. All 3 are different from VN. Why is it such a "shock" now that UBW is too? |

Archer was nerfed so much ever since the VN was released, it's time for him to get a buff for once. GH is different because the resistence builts up different from the VN. VN had almost "instant" near-immunity to weapons that killed Heracles, but in anime the resistence raises proportional to the damage, or something like that according to one of the interviews with Nasu. |

True, but projecting generic swords is really cheap, it's almost free. |
