| Now that the Anime Hype Train seems to have found its next station, I'd be glad to discover that it doesn't get crushed by it. (Hard to do, but still possible). | The only thing which is good about the manga is the cool art, take that out and your left with very little here. So unless the animation is amazing I dont care for this anime |

| I just pray that a good studio with a MASSIVE budget gets their hands on this. Ppl don't realize that proper adaptations are extremely rare nowadays. Sure we are gonna get an anime, but will it have proper animation quality? will they be able to capture the art of the manga? will the pacing be good? These are all things that happen very rarely and for ppl to get thier hopes up is foolish imo. There are prolly a maximum of2-3 anime adaptations a year that actually capture the manga source material properly. And if the rumors are true(i dont think they are) about toei adapting this, we might as well give up lol. Have you guys seen how bad they butchering onepiece lately? like GODAMN that animation quality and pacing is fucking terrible...its laughable. |

Agree with all you've said but there's no such rumor about Toei adapting this unless you're talking about the posts in this thread where a few people are messing around. If anything, Sunrise would be a good guess based on it being held at Bandai booth. |

The problem with Sunrise is that Studio 5 is starting on the new season of Gintama soon and that will be running for an undetermined amount of time. So they are unlikely to be involved. Any other studio in Sunrise doing OPM is probably not going to give it the treatment it deserves. Studio 3 might be an alright choice since they did a great job on the action scenes of BF/BFT but they haven't been working on anything non-Gundam related for a while. I don't know a lot about studios in Sunrise but isn't Studio 8 the best one in Sunrise? Are they working on anything atm aside from Gundam? |
