| If I was to answer this question I'd probably give up on the medium before watching any more of the Monogatari franchise after that first arc with Mayoi turned me the fuck off. And that goes for anything that banks too much on stylistic resemblances to it (Mekakucity Actors, Nisekoi, etc), though I guess if If I'm going to say that then the answer extends to the rest of my drop list. Cowboy Bebop (episodic, space, seems to pander to westerns and I dislike that, the main character's afro, etc) LOGH ( Long, space opera, the protagonist seems like a stuck up dick, I read that there is a religon cult sup plot, was spoiled about a character's death, etc) Mushishi ( Episodic, seems slow and repetitive as hell, the premise is not interesting in the slightest, the protagonist seem like a robot with no personality, the art and character design is not to my liking, seems like a mood anime, etc) Mecha is not my thing in general. Kino's journey (the character design, art, most of the other reasons as Mushishi, and I have watched a review in it, and knew for sure I wouldn't enjoy it or care for it) Psychoo Pass and Ghost in Shell (Techno babble, I don't like that type of sci fi) I should also Add Aria to those. |

Gintama, People say it's hilarious, but they also say it's "cultural-based comedy with lots of references" Knowing Japan's culture-inegrated comedy, which sucks ass, and lacks any hint of wit, I elect to avoid it. |

| -Anything with more than 50 episodes that isn't divided up into succinct seasons, except LOGH and FMA which I'll probably watch when I'm 50. -Anything that looks grimderp EDIT: Oh and Grisaia taught me a grotesque lesson about Visual Novel adaptations. "It can't possibly be that bad", I thought. EDIT 2: Shounen is also a deterrent, as they're usually extremely repetitive, predictable and creatively bankrupt with an immature underlying concept, but there are exceptions. |

| I used to, but since around July last year I've kind of watched almost all the ones like that I had by now Though I guess you could say I'm avoiding One Piece in the sense that I'd like to one day have seen all anime in the top 100 ratings or so but no way in fuck am I watching something that long :s orite I really don't want to watch Hajime no Ippo either due to how much I hate boxing |

| I'm avoiding way too many things right now. I need to get into the right mindset to watch any show, else I'd just end up constantly trying to find flaws to excuse myself from watching. I'll end up watching everything I plan to watch, but it'll just take a really, really long time. In general though, I tend to like shows that are quiet and humble, so tend to be wary of shows that are touted to have aesthetic appeal, intense dramatic scenes, or adrenaline-pumping content. I'd first compliment a show for making use of a long silent scene than anything involving action, comedy, or serious drama. |

I tried watching aria, madoka, widows, railgun etc. and none were enjoyable for me. Still im planning to watch Nichijou cuz I heard it's better than my fave nichibros. |
