| It was announced during the event "Sega Networks Fan Kanshasai 2014" that mobile game Chain Chronicle will get a TV anime. More information will be announced at a later time. The game already has an 8-episode OVA. Three episodes of the OVA were streamed at a series of events this past September, and the DVD with the all the OVA episodes will be released on December 18, 2014. Either way, the key visual doesn't look half bad so it's almost a guaranteed watch. Really hope it doesn't end up like most of the other "Tales of" anime though. |

| Maybe you shouldn't expect too much out of it if you don't want to think it will suck. Though, the only good thing that could come out of it is, it will be a better comedy show or else it will be an useless anime but a good advertising show for the game. It is a mobile card game after all. |

It's based off a crappy mobile RPG (those hardly ever turn out well) that got some pretty bad shorts and I doubt the plot or anything this anime will have can save it since it has no proper source. The only types of mobile games that can be adapted properly or at least decently are ones that could be retooled into a slice of life, is something like a Harem/romcom, or is an idol series. The only thing that's this is good for is to advertise a crappy game. |

I also agree with Hoppy words, and i hope it will turn out to be good so i can take my words back :) |

| Always welcome more high fantasy anime. Anime is sorely lacking in high fantasy/medieval series. Hell, I could count them all in 2 hands. Although the edgy teen shit design of the bad guy (I'm assuming?) bothers me. Looks out of place for such a setting. Oh well, still might be good. I just hope it's not a comedy, there's no better way to ruin a high fantasy anime than putting a bunch of comedy in it. Record of Lodoss War season 2 when? |
