Lian Po appear in the end of the episode. He is very badass. Welcome to a of Four Greatest Generals in Warring States. The speech of Xin was very good in the episode too.

For a second, I was reminded what Emiya Kiritsugu said to Saber about horror of war

A silent figure of Lian Po was more than enough sent chill down to my spine. One glance and you know he is badass

Love this episode so much, even though Xin did not render any great achievements like Meng Tian and Wang Ben still that scene makes the best part of this episode.
War is really like that even now, we can see countries saying that they are doing the right thing but in reality if we look further enough things like that are bound to happen that innocent people are the ones who are getting affected by it.
Also the one that he said to that One Thousand Man general about defying the "this is reality" famous quote until now is what is the best thing I like :)
Looks like we have a new enemy incoming and I also noticed that he is the one appearing in the opening song.
So, I guess we're expecting a new opening or maybe just a new images like in the first season, in the opening after this arc?

I think there is little things we can take from Xin actions. He knew and yet he still did what he did. Meng Tian and Wang Ben share the same emotion but think that they will fix things once they reach the top but how much atrocities will they let go by until they get there and after getting there how much of their initial spirit will remain after letting so much go by?
Xin doesn't want to reach his goal but have nothing left in him of the man who initially dreamed of getting there.

Great points. His convictions aren't simply words, he backs them up with action. I like the narrator's comments near the end of the episode, stating Xin's unit's name was spread to both the Qin army and the state of Wei, even if subtly. I wonder how that will play out as Xin continues down his path.

Xin gets outclassed by Meng Tian and Wang Ben in the fight, but still manages to up his reputation, good stuff.

Loved the Qiang Lei scene even though I saw it coming.

Lian Po is gonna be a hoss.

War is definitely a harsh reality, glad to see Xin learning about this and i am really glad he stuck to his ideals when it mattered the most.

Wow, I am so impressed with Xin. Hands down, dude! I really thought he will stop because of the possible punishment. But I am so glad that he did it. And what he said about sticking to his ideals. Very true. How can he become a great general if he overlook those things. And I am so glad Meng Tian was there...

And just want to post this. Loving the look in Xin's eyes!

EDIT: seems like pics are not working anymore... too bad.

Wow, my relief when Xin stepped in and slashed that guy! Kudos to Meng for covering it up as well!
What I love about Xin is that, even though he wants to be big, is simple-minded, and hot-heated, he is a man of action and sticks true to his values no matter what. Unlike the other two, he didn't hold back. So much respect.
For a moment, I had a flashback to LotGH and of Wolfgang punishing a subordinate!

What I hate about actual war is not that people die, but the innocent people caught up in it all. Yet the soldiers are what people focus on; the civilians are overlooked.

When the narrator mentioned Xin's name being spread subtly, I grinned. I hope there's an episode later where he helps an enemy or something, and they know his name and reputation. I would love that.

Xin the hero of justice! Hm hard to really say anything since reality back in those days were a bit evil.

Behold of my awesomeness~
controversial and/or sensitive topics likely devolve into the same repetitive, derogatory, abusive, and harassing comments can no longer be posted.

Awesome episode. I'm so proud of you, Shin! :) Even though he didn't play that much a big role like Meng Tian and Wang Ben did in this war, he still managed to win our hearts.

i'm surprised how shin, despite being the underdog in this "war", had been the one who's name spread lol.
i'm more disappointed though how they didn't brought him to trail of something, i wanted more politics lol, it was lack in this episode.
in other words: i want more of zheng and lu buwei story.

that was just fucking evil. Just a few episodes ago when we were on Zheng's flashback, they said Qin also buried some 400,000 Zhao soldiers who surrendered. And now they're doing it to Wei. Idk if other states do this too when they win but believe me some time soon, some of these states maybe even all of them, will team up to erase all of Qin.
