If I understand correctly, a basic requirement of the Yuri genre is that there must be a least one female character who has strong emotional feelings for another female character. In Love Lab, we definitely see jokes about Yuri relationships. However, so far, we see no reason to think that any of these people has strong emotional feelings for another female character. So I believe that Love Lab is not in the Yuri genre, based on my impression of the accepted standard definition of Yuri. All that said, I am not an expert on Yuri. |

One person had said, "I really like the anime, but if it is Shōjo-ai then I'll have to drop it." As it turns out, she lives in a certain country where Shōjo-ai might well be illegal. I think it is a serious and reasonable question for her to ask us. That is how the discussion got started. Frankly, I don't think that it is important at all, and I am happy just to sit back and enjoy the show. On the other hand, my country has laws which limit the kinds of anime that I can watch. So I have to be aware of those laws and always be careful. |

| What a waste that it's not yuri...Seriously, the subtext was all over the place, loved it. The comedy was nice too, even though I prefer the MakixRiko boke-tsukkomi bits, the other parts were just as funny. 5/5. |

| The white handwritten sign taped to the Student Council office door is clearly visible at 06:25 in Episode 3. It says: . . . . . . . . . 必ずノックをしてください!! . . . . . . . . . Kanarazu nokku o shite kudasai which means, "Please be sure to knock!!" The words were even underlined in red. However, at the very start of Episode 1, Riko Kurahashi opened the door without knocking first. As a result, she caught Maki kissing the plastic blow-up doll. |

| Isayama Hajime should be awarded The Manga with The Highest Inconsistencies of Characters' Appearances. He keeps performing multiple plastic surgeries on those Shingeki No Kyojin characters in a SINGLE chapter. Yes, I've read up to the latest chapter of Shingeki No Kyojin manga. Forced myself to read through the kidsketching chapters after the anime's ended. At least from now on, I only have to go through the hell once a month. Patiently awaiting SNK TV/movie/OVA anime-sequel. The 2015 SNK live-action movie would probably suck. |

| Maki has superhuman speed. The first half was pretty hilarious. A part of the second half was funny too, but then it got intense. Good thing Riko and Sayo know how to save the day. Favorite quotes from this episode: "I wanna do it too!" "Your daddy is lingerie!" I'm really loving this anime. |

"Besides, who hasn't fantasized about having a cool boyfriend, or wanted to be thought of as cute?" "I haven't!" That never grows old. The people in this school are so gullible. |

LOL The design is more and more like the part that in addition to Maki and Riko, ever. Known episode in which a Next step in the plot, with Maki and his research almost relegated to a mere instrument to develop a narrative that sees finally introduce the remaining characters and insert something new and intriguing in the cloth! Less funny the episode, but definitely one story development means that people do not get bored seeing repetitive things. Good also the unpredictability in the situations shown, I did not see the usual scenes discounted that both infect the animated productions of today. I give it one more vote for the initial part and the faces of Riko! ROTFL |

| Did Maki make her own theme in the beginning? lol That do it scene. Freaking hilarious. I got a little worried near the end there where she was found out about the Love Lab. Glad it worked out in the end. Great episode. |
| That scene at the garden though.. I think anyone would misunderstand if she says it that way haha! Things got a little serious here.. But a little drama doesn't hurt I guess.. |
