And then thatsomethingsomething goes back to being exactly same as before that with no consequences.. While you are grasping at straws to do that, might as well try to prove that Sakura in anyway shape or form developed as a character or that her progression (oblivioussenpaimachine >yandere >oblivious senpai machine) made any lick of sense. Because its just as fruitless. There's a reason why even VN readers hate Sakura's guts. Pretty much the only ones to pay any attention to her are Zero Secondaries (because omgomgKariya is totally a good guy and not tunnel vision ntr-psyhopath) and Mike. Otherwise Sakura fanbase is a vast minority in terms of VN readers. I give Sakura credit where its due - her backstory and psychological profile. But that's all there is for her. She is a "twist" - no more no less. |

| Yeah, I agree with Grey-Zone here. But, to be honest, I'll wait until I finish this current re-read of HF before I even try to comment about the route. But, from my current perspective, saying that either Rin or Sakura are "supporting characters" in this route is just.......well, weird to me. |

Not to mention the fact that they separated Gil and Kirei votes for FSN and FZ, while keeping Saber votes intact, lol. |

| Well Kirei is the one who was fucked up the most with splits - with combined votes he would be on 11th place, above both Shirou and Kiritsugu and pushing our favorite Lancer out of the top 20. Gil's combined votes would net him 8th place, putting him in front of Sakura aka senpaimachine. As for Saber's votes, all her versions are, in fact, separate. It's just that Saber voters put all their votes into F/SN Saber. F/Z Saber is, in fact, on 119th place with 110 votes. Funny thing is that Shirou appears only once in the poll results. Other funny thing is that, even when you combine all of the Rin's votes (F/SN, F/Z, F/E - for some reason there isn't F/HA Rin entry), it's still not enough for her to top F/SN Archer. |

Rin + Archer + Saber = sales. Pretty sure this franchise is well past that kind of catering, though. I mean, look at how well F/Z did and it only has one of those characters. No, I think UBW and then Heaven's Feel was the best way to do it from a story progression stand point. It's possible to sprinkle Fate elements into UBW, as we are seeing, but intermingling very different stories like UBW and HF would be fairly dumb. That, and having HF without at least UBW before it just won't work that well. |
