By the way, is there a specific reason why they didn't show Shirou's face? It is clear they "hid" it on purpose, but why? I mean, Issei DID call him Emiya-kun and stuff... Mod Edit: Removed quote of deleted post. |

Creative decision. The focus is on Rin. The "experiences" of them are separate. That's why. Its not to hide who that person is, but more to showcase that there's "point of view" missing. |

Awesome! xD LOL! This was a nice prologue and all, I don't know what to expect from the rest of the anime though. Is it gonna be some summary adaption? Or is it gonna go down Rin and Archer's Route or whatever? o-o Hmm...well whatever the case, both ideas would look awesome! And that ending......cliffhanger of the season. xD It was a nice episode overall, really awesome animation, especially that one fighting scene. ONE fighting scene. :P But yeah, this is gonna be epic. xD |

Music and animation are great. OST fits very well with the show and sets it to have suspense and drama. Pacing was a bit too slow for me and the characters are okay so far. Junichi Suwabe voicing Archer made it worth it. Not sure what the Holy Grail is yet, or the purpose of these events so I can't say much about the plot. Anyway, time for the series next week! |

Huh, did not know that. Adds some more much needed depth to Tokiomis character. He got more development in the drama cd's than the actual series.
